Hey all, I've been having a daily gamenight with a friend of mine and we often find ourselves having difficulties looking for new games to play when we finished one. Seeing there's a Halloween sale going on, perhaps you can help out by giving some suggestions :) (They don't necessarily have to be on sale now though)
We're mostly looking for co-op games, doesn't matter if 'local' (through remote play together) or online, and with some story (so a clear beginning and end, we've tried some roguelikes and such but that's only fun for 1 time to play together).

To give you a better idea what we're looking for:

What we have played and finished:

What we've tried out but didn't really work out:

What we're not looking for:

  • Overcooked
    or similar games
  • Horror (they tolerate Killing Floor but that's not so much jumpy horror)
  • Trine games (they don't like them as much as I do)

What we're gonna try out:

Suggestions from here that we might try out:
A Way Out
Portal 2
Divinity Original Sin games
Biped
Borderlands games
Hammerwatch games
Zombie Army Trilogy
Nuclear Throne
Risk of Rain games
Guacamelee games
Lego games
Gears 5
How to Survive
Satellite Reign
Shadow Warrior 2
Yooka-Laylee games
LARA CROFT AND THE TEMPLE OF OSIRIS
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Tower 57
Indivisible

To thank you for your time reading that and giving suggestions (or you just clicked the link because you read there were GAs inside :p), here are some giveaways for some keys I still had laying around:

Death Road to Canada might be worth a look. Tons of replay value, and often quite funny.

Hah I came across this one as well and sent the link to my friend then, but I think because of the roguelike tag that it's gonna be fun to play together for one evening only :(

I wouldn't worry too much about that "rougelike" tag - I didn't feel like it was a very heavy part of the game. It does have things that you can permanently unlock between runs, but I felt like they were mostly bonuses, rather than anything that you need to progress in the game. There are SO many hidden events and characters that you will probably see something new every time you play.

Oh yeah I came across A Hat in Time when filtering my library, but think I'll enjoy it more playing solo for now.

We Were Here got me quitting with that weird joker dude on the stage, so I don't know what to expect from follow up games 😅

Actually finished Pikuniku solo, silly game xD

Headsnatchers is more going towards Overcooked etc., like "party" games, so not quite what we're going for, but thanks for the suggestions!

We find the 2 player mini-games fun for quick bursts of silly play.

The sale's over, but I picked up Pushy and Pully in Blockland at a decent discount. I enjoyed the demo of it when it first came out, so it was a no brainer for me.

For some challenging twin stick shooting, there's Blazing Beaks.

According to you're list, i see that you're were (with you friend) fan of hack'n'slash (Darksiders Genesis, Victor Vran ARPG, Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut, Torchlight II ...), Vikings - Wolves of Midgard and Cat Quest II are also good one for me (and playable in coop), i have check of you're library and here some coop games you have that are good for me : BattleBlock Theater / Golf With Your Friends / ibb & obb / Don't Starve Together / Screencheat / Castle Crashers / Terraria.

Thanks for the suggestions, Vikings looks like something I can suggest to my friend.

Those ones from my library I already tried/finished or don't quite fit the need, but thanks for taking the time going through my huge library to come up with some already owned games :)
