"OEM versions are illegal" Of course, because if a manufacturer gives a free game with it's notebook/VGA, it's usually generated by a keygen -.-
I'd ask him if he did activate the code before "asking" Steam Support about it. I got a Daylight Steam key with my GTX 660, and it's still in my library, so I don't know where did he hear that bs. Yeah, the best you can do is report him on SteamRep, and move along.. Or try to find his location by IP, and threaten him to cough up the money jk, jk :D As for the future: Either try to boost your reputation by doing smaller trades, or next time write out, that no matter what, the buyer goes first. Of course this will significantly reduces the potential buyers, since not a lot of people want to buy a high value game from a low rep guy, but hey something for something (or whaddyacallit), right?

Apart from the obvious bullshit this scammer is spouting the one thing that caught my eye is the " Within 2 hours he had a response from steam support"? Now i have to call bullshit on this for a start as i waited nearly 3 weeks for a reply from steam support on just 1 of my tickets and can tell from experience they are way to busy to reply to frivolous questions such as legality on nvidia codes by boosting it to top priority....
Also moments after typing this i realized you noticed the same thing, Do what the others have mentioned front this to steamrep get that muppet flagged for a start also go to steamsupport to see if they can add to the fire.

Well this guy added me as well as a friend also for Dying Light. He said he only had $23 on his steam account and cannot buy it and he'll pay me a week later. I said no thanks and he offered me key/licenses to antivirus software and said he had 2500 of them and he has invoices for them as well. He also offered me access to his facebook account and other none sense as to say hes trustworthy on his word and that he'll pay me after I send him the key. Of course thats all it takes is sending the key and after thats done anything can go as to if they keep their end or high tail. Many trades on here have rep generated so its hard to see who is legit and whatnot. I can easily put up a steam group and say give me +rep and I'll do a give away and boom I have a rep generated steam account. I don't do that but I've seen it in many +100-200-300-500 users. Even on here people are like oh you go first because I have high rep and I'm like I have +15 in the last 2 weeks where as they have had +0 in the last 4-6 months.
This particular person asked me as well as my friend to send game/key first and that he'll pay back in a week. I noticed that hes still in my friendlist as I don't really delete people but when I saw him play the game I was surprised so I guess it was your key he used?

Actually I don't think nVidia cares on that part they give away game bundles all the time and if the promo doesn't sell they tell the vendor to do whatever with it where to throw them away or to sell them which Newegg, Amazon, Frys and other online retailers do when the promo is over and they have excess game codes see "pc game codes" that go for $20. If you do provide proof and you say that your code had been redeemed but you have your invoice/receipt and what not, they can provide you with another key.

History :
When I told him that was not my problem, he added that OEM versions can be cancelled by Steam and it's illegal, whereas this scammer told me before trading "Yeah I know Nvidia codes, I already activated some of them"
This guy have more than 400 games on his Steam account, claim that the graphics card can not run the game is a lie.
This hypocrit told me that he lost money too, because he has resell the CSGO skin $18 whereas he bought this skin $20.
After that, he propose me 3 license of Bitdefender, WTF !?
So I set him a negative reputation, he brought me one in return, how to react to that ?
