I sent it, Steam is probably just being weird. You wouldn't be the first person that didn't get notified of an invite.
Tried sending another one just in case but get the message: "This user has already been invited or is currently a member."

Oh, I just found it. It was at the bottom of Invites section, under Pending Invites, with no notification for it whatsoever.

I plan to do a giveaway for this group sometime soon. I just need to figure out which game is on everybody's wishlist.
