My account can only be used on my system since the attached email no longer exists to be used on the Microsoft site. I've contacted Microsoft to get help, but they are piss useless.

Call them up. They have a process now for password resets and deleted microsoft accounts if that's preventing you from signing in. And if you did contact recently, try it again because they should be able to help unless you outright cannot verify info over the phone.

They told me to use a website to recover the email address. By remembering info I made up in the late 90s when I was a brat sill in school.
They wouldn't do more than that for me. Just kept on repeating that I should do that.
I'll give them another try though, and hope the people I can get when calling from New Zealand is more helpful than they were a couple of years ago.

Oh yeah, they got more options a few months back actually. You'll have to do the form first just to get a case number, but as long as you got that they can do more now. A couple years back, yeah, it was kinda tough shit if you didn't know the info.

It doesn't matter much, I don't use it much anymore now anyway. Kind of pissed off at Microsoft about it, since all my Collector's Edition DLCs from a good number of games is attached to this account, and I can't recover it if something happens.
