Thankfully i had an account since 2017, tried to reset the password but didn't receive any mail lol, so i burned my brain to remember the old password XD

So, my experience so far:
Saw this post and jumped on it, but I guess so did the entire world... The site didn't outright crash, but is sure wasn't functioning correct either.
Tried to to create an account and got the fun error where nothing will happen when I press a button (I guess an overload issue). Tried a few time and gave up.
Came back the next day and managed to create the account, but got a strange error, reloaded the page and it just gave me errors like wrong password, wrong e-mail. Tried it a few times more but same errors, gave up. Still same overload issue I guess.
Waited another day and tried to log on with my account, and it worked, I'm in. No wait, I'm not. I need to verify on e-mail. Sure no problem. I thought. No mail coming.
I have logged in several times since and get same message, to await the confirmation e-mail. But nothing. Until one day when I left that window open for several hours it suddenly just said ''Account Verified, Welcome''. Weird, still no email, I haven't verified anything? Well, who cares, free game here I come. I thought.... As soon as I clicked a link on the site it bumped me back to log in, and then told me I need to wait for the verification e-mail.
Still same today, verification e-mail.

So now I'm thinking two things;

1. TBO (The Bleeding Obvious) - This site was never built for this much traffic, it can't handle it at all, and as long as users are trying to get in over and over and over again it won't rebound anytime soon. Likely to get worse as more new people trying will start the same hammering as I have...

2. Is it maybe so that this is tied to those regions only (was it Spain & Portugal?)? What I mean, that it simply will not accept my mail address as it's a Swedish one, ends in .se and not in whatever the software is expecting to see, and due the overload (or that the site isn't built that way) I don't get an error message telling me I am not eligible?

TL:DR;
Anyway, my advice if you are reading this and want in; Be patient, be VERY patient. Klick buttons once, wait a while, shut it down and return next day to see if the site have had time to handle that step of your request. Don't expect miracles anytime soon.

Just worked for me, took a few days of trying with an old throwaway email. Got the email in junk, it assigned me a username, then I clicked the blue button as shown. Cancelled out of the addon installer and there was the key.
