Lowest-metascore game that you still think is worth playing?

I guess that will never be finished huh? I think I got it in a Humble way back when it was still new

I don't trust the metascore, If I have a doubt about a game I read lot of user comments and watch some gameplay on youtube.

"The first Templar" with 57

Clive's Barker Jericho. Got around 60 on metascore.But i think it's pretty fun to play. I'd say the game is quite underrated.

Gothic 3(metascore 63)- i get why score is so low, it was buggy mess if released and didnt run good even highend computers.
But i think its worth to play even today(use latest Community Patch!). Its cheap(frequently below 3€), world is big, lot of quests, graphic is not so bad(if you dont forget it was released 2006), bugs are patched. Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods(standalone expansion for Gothic III, made by other developers) deserve 44 metascore, its crap.
Risen 3(metascore 65)- not for everybody and definitely has its flaws but its not bad game. Im sure it have big discounts soon, worth to try with sale price if you dont have prejudice(its crap because AJ says so).

I actually really quite enjoyed Windforge. Admittedly it did have quite a few bugs but few of them were game-breaking in any way. So long as you remember to use the quicksave feature occasionally, any hiccups are more likely to amuse you rather than frustrate you. Granted, the set-up is a little bit clumsy and it won't be for everyone, but it's a fresh environment for the entire "Mine -> Smelt -> Build" formula.

Binary Domain is an awesome game. i enjoyed it a lot. metascore 68...

duke nukem forever meta score 54

Contrast has its problems, but it's a really nice game. 62 is way too low in my opinion.

Uusually no. I trust more user reviews but they also can't show how the game is. I remember I have enjoyed bad games.

Half Life 2

Rogue Warrior, which has a current score of 29 on PC. I thought it was an average game, kinda fun too until you'd watched all the kill moves over a few times. The credits soundtrack on the other hand...well, 29's too high for that shit. XD

Guns of Icarus Online, Postal 2, Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army 1&2

The Incredible Hulk, which has a 33 on PC. I just love that game.

it was incredibly nostalgic to me and grew more polished over time - i was utterly disappointed that its metascore is only 59 :(

Chaos Engine is a real classic and got a metascore of 40. way too low, it's a cool game and still fun to this very day. especially in co-op. userscore is 8.0, btw.

BloodRayne games are great if don't jump on the "hurr hurr, sexualized chick vs nazis is so dumb dumb" train

• Hidden & Dangerous 1 & 2 with 74 and 75.
• 1nsane with 69

Not that low scores but those are the only games I could think of that were good
