As I already replied in a comment below I am currently not a home and I can't go through my documentary folder to refresh my goldfish memory, but the 2 things that come to my mind (tho very unrelated to the ones you suggested) are:
Air Crash Investigations (also known as Mayday in some places) which will always be my favorite thing ever and I watched all 17 seasons of it.
In the last time I have been watching a lot of heath related videos on this channel and found them quite interesting.

I recently just started the Seven Up documentary series. It follows the lives of an ordinary group of people from different socioeconomic backgrounds in Britain from 1964 to present, creating an episode every 7 years. There's currently 7up, 14up, 21up all the way to 56up. Apparently it can really alter your perception on aging and life, as you watch these people go from little kids to teenagers with aspirations, to fathers and mothers of kids themselves.
My highest recommendation would definitely be Life In A Day though. This is a beautiful documentary I try to watch at least once a year. The title pretty much sums it up, it shows you the lives of people from all over the world through their own cameras, on a single day; the 24th of July, 2010. Many find it boring but I found it to be very humbling and grounding. It definitely changed my perception of the world and humanity. :)
Obese Autopsy & Alone in the Wilderness are also great and very interesting.

I am one of those people that found Life In A Day boring :/ I couldn't finish it.
Obese Autopsy - I just saw that as recommended on Youtube yesterday o.O
Added the 3 I haven't seen on my to-watch list, thank you! I thank you even more for providing Youtube links to them, makes my life a billion times easier :)

Ahhh Reddit ofc. I don't know why I never though about going to look there, thanks for the idea!
I am currently abroad so I don't have access to my ever-growing folder of documentaries to scroll through, but the 2 things I can think of right now are:
Air Crash Investigations (also known as Mayday in some places) which will always be my favorite thing ever and I watched all 17 seasons of it.
In the last time I have been watching a lot of heath related videos on this channel and found them quite interesting.

Damn, I was 100% sure I had a key for it laying around somewhere, but it seems I must have confused it with something else :( Added to wishlist tho as burning stuff is always fun ;)

Yea I saw it on the Steam page that it was made by the same guys. This also reminds me that I need to get around finishing World of Goo sometimes soon .... but those OCD challenges are way too hard :/
Me too! I will keep an eye open for any bundles with it ^^

Just scrolling through your library, you should probably play some more:
Endless Legend (for my money probably the best 4X out there right now, this ruined CIv for me)
FTL (easy on the hardware, but less so on your spirit maybe (it can be nerve-wracking) :)
MirrorMoon EP (atmospheric, mysterious and not demanding)
Deus Ex (a true classic, if you can stomach 3D graphics from yesteryear- there are mods to alleviate it somewhat, though)
I'll just suggest a few documentaries some of which I have been meaning to watch myself but haven't gotten round to doing yet :/: Helvetica, Inside Job, Grizzly Man, Manufactured Landscapes and Fire at Sea
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you, I shall download FTL and MirrorMoon EP first as they natively run on Linux and add the documentaries to my to-watch list (I didn't know there is a such thing as a grizzly bear activist :o ). Thank you very much for the suggestions ^^

Aww, feel better, Mouse. I don't know how readily available it is online, but I remember finding Human Planet to be really interesting! :)

Aw hope you feel better soon!
After a quick browse some I've played that are chill and can be multitasked with are Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition, Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage and Poker Night at the Inventory. Also Lapland Solitaire and one of your Mahjong games are probably a safe bet. A free one I've enjoyed playing when I'm not feeling great is Onirim - Solitaire Card Game.
Documentaries I watch are quite depressing, don't think they'd help you feel better. haha

Thank you! Ahhh I completely forgot I own most of those games aka the first world probable of owning way too many games. Thank you very much for the suggestions! Will download some of those ^^
Depressing stuff is my kinda of thing (yea I am weird I know) so feel free to suggest some of those as well. I will not be watching them now anyways, I am saving them for when I come home from abroad in a couple of weeks :)

Yep I'm guilty of forgetting games as well haha. Glad to help. :)
Earthlings / Pet Fooled / Blackfish (animals/environmental)
Fashion Factories Undercover (sweatshops)
A State of Mind (child gymnasts in North Korea)
Icarus (Russian doping scandal/sports)
Bill Cunningham New York (photographer of fashion/people in NY)

Thank you for the suggestions! I find stuff related to North Korea particularly interesting so that might be one of the first I will be watching.

Planet Earth is in my opinion a great documentary (11 Episodes) and has just stunning footage. Watch in highRes strongly recommended!
*Edit: forgot the obligatory "bump"-thingy
Comment has been collapsed.
I will be watching that on a 1366x768 side monitor so high resolution or not I don't think it would change that much ;) and yes I really really need to replace that monitor as it doesn't even support DVI, only VGA >.>. Thank you for the bump-thingy and the suggestion, I will add it to the list ^^

They accept Paypal so I shouldn't have problems getting it ... if they finally send me the registration email... You would think that in 2017 such thing shouldn't take more than a minute...

Completed it and it was everything I was hopping it would be :) I just wish there were more countries to "solve", because those clocks are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much again! ^^
Fun fact: I finally got my registration email from DIG 45 minutes ago....

Okay, I have to ask -- how do you drive in ETS2 and watch a show at the same time? Do you just listen to the show? Or do you actually take your eyes off the road in ETS2 in order to watch?
I can't do anything visual while I drive in ETS2/ATS or else I will drive off the road.
Comment has been collapsed.
I tend to choose stuff that I think I can mostly get away with just listening to while playing ETS2, but yes I do look at it from time to time when I find something particularity interesting. Except for occasionally missing an exit off the highway I usually don't have too many problems with driving off the road (might hit a side of a car sometimes tho), but if I am in a particularly tricky place (intersections, weird curves) or I wanna watch the screen for a prolonged amount of time I will just pause the game till I am ready to drive again.

Hello, I am currently chilling on the couch being sick with a cup of tea and my laptop. I am currently playing Alice's Patchwork 2 but I am almost done with it, so I am looking for any new games to play that don't require too much brain or hardware power. I am not looking into buying any new games (I spent waaay to much money in the past 2 weeks and I am not even done with Christmas presents :/ ), but if anyone suggest anything I own I will give it a try and if I don't own it and I like it I will add it to my wishlist for the next time I will be sick :D The dot at the end of this sentence leads to the obligatory giveaway.
Additionally I am also always looking for any interesting documentaries to watch while I drive around in ETS2 or solving jigsaw puzzles. Any topic is welcome as tend to watch all kinds of stuff.
Thank you in advance to anyone that suggest something! :)
