CS:GO and Dota 2 invites > Have you got a mail about it when you got them?

For CS:Go i don't have anything in E-mail just add in my library and extra copy. And Dota2 i got from Playdota lucky draw.

Not sure about CS:GO, but when I received my DOTA2 invite, I got an email from Steam. I'm guessing that it's the same for CS:GO.

I realised i had CSGO when i closed a game and it told me in that Steam Update News thing. Never got a mail about it. For Dota 2, i did get a email.

I go an email with the code for csgo and nothing yet for Dota

I got an e-mail for DOTA 2.

I got notification on my steam for both. For Dota 2 i got it in library directly and got email. For CS:GO i got one in library and notification for one gift in my inventory.

Only for Dota 2. For CS:GO, it just gives you a notification on Steam that you have it.

Yep I got a Mail when I received my invite.

For Dota 2 I had a mail and for CS: GO and Source Filmmmaker not.

Yea I got an email from steam support saying something like CONGRATULATIONS!
YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PLAY DOTA 2. And instructions on where to get it, downloading steam bla bla. It was already there in my game library though so If you win, you can find it there. i didn't notice it until I was browsing the games in my profile and saw DoTA 2.

No E-Mail received for Dota 2, I just saw it one day in my All Games list.

My husband got an email for Dota 2 just a few days ago.

I got this with the Subject " Congratulations! You've been selected to play Dota 2 "
