...for 5€? (or $ etc.)

I thought it was a free game. What are the differences between the free version and this on Steam?

CORRECTION:

Game is for 10€, but now it's with -50% discount...

Heard you like indie games, so we'll port our mobile games to PC as indie...I'll just wait for those games in humble bundle/indieroyale/other bundles.

Doesn't the free version have less levels. Frankly most steam users aren't heavy casual players so I don't expect this one to be a best seller nor encourage similar games to be released on steam. This is a non-issue, and I doubt steam will be flooded with games from the app store. Besides much worse shovelware was on steam before greenlight.

It's a cash grab, plain and simple.

I don't get why people get so worked up over some of these things coming to Steam. People pitched a fit over Angry Birds, which I was actually excited about. Some people like casual games. If you don't, awesome. No one's forcing you to buy them. Steam isn't, never was, and never claimed to be nothing but big, popular AAA games. People need to quit being elitist about it, quit bitching about this imaginary made-up "standard", and deal with it. I actually think it's nice that they're bringing some of these things to Steam. Makes it more accessible to all types of gamers. I don't think mobile games coming to Steam is going to be a common or regular thing either though - games like Cut the Rope or Angry Birds are hugely popular and best sellers on mobile devices, which is probably explains why those ones in particular have come to Steam.

Anyhow, the free iOS version had ads and not as many levels. I'd still say the price is a little steep but people complaining that they're charging for a game that's free on other platforms aren't being quite fair, as there are differences.

It doesn't affect me. I probably won't buy it since it doesn't have achievements. Oh Well.

Why would anyone play a game just for the achievements?

^ Because no one cares to play games right? They just want to play to earn achievements.. Achievements whores, I am sure people will play War Z just because it has achievements..

Does it matter?

I wouldn't mind if they cost the same as the Kindle Fire HD versions. I just don't understand why we're paying 10 bucks for the same thing that Kindle users get for 3. Plus less features, because most of us don't have touchscreen monitors.
