This is a question to ask support. Typically you'd assume it's because you asked for a game, tried to trade or advertised something. If you did absolutely nothing but enter the chat, then I would not know the reasoning behind it with the current management.

Seriously, you can ask for a support.

I'm always confused as to why people post things like this in the forum - unless one of us were in the chat and in direct communication with the person that slapped the ban-hammer on you at that moment, then we'd have no idea why you were banned. So assuming that is the case and that there is a reasonable expectation on your part that we would not know, why then the post in the forum... Contact support and plead your case with them, no one else can help you.
