How most people will probably read this:

FREE DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED

if you buy an AMD processor.

AMD is about to launch a new, supposedly revolutionary line of CPUs. Not exactly the right time to buy one of the current models.

They are about to launch that line for what, a year now? Honestly, as much as I hope they will crush all the Intel fanboys with it (although realistically I only hope they will manage to halve their disadvantage finally), I will only believe it is released when I see one in real life in front of me, working.

I know. Of course I have no elements to say Zen will be groundbreaking or even reasonably good. Still, also considering the relative weakness of AMD's current lineup, I would certainly not buy one of their expensive CPUs right now (or an Intel one for that matter). Wait and see is all I'm saying. And sure, Intel needs competition!

September 2015 I bought AMD FX-8300 (8-core processor). Does that count here, or it count only if you buy their stuffs from now to november? :/

EDIT: Seems it count only if you purchase it from now, sad life... :(

Made me chuckle: AMD rigs are in the game.

With Zen coming out in just a few months, there is no way I'd buy an AMD cpu unless it was to upgrade an older rig without replacing the motherboard.

This is an awful promotion for the consumer.

Now is the wrong time to buy an FX processor. Hell, even if you need to do a fresh build/upgrade right now, AMD is not the way to go.

If you can wait, competitive AMD products are only months away and Skylake is still there.

Yeah, I was all AMD in every build I did for myself and for others, but I needed to get up from under my Phenom II X2 555 last fall/winter and Skylake was just too much better than FX, and I couldn't wait for Zen.

I miss the time the brazilian real was more on pair with the american dollar. 150 bucks were something relatively affordable. Nowadays not so much.

I actually read it as "free AMD FX processor if you buy Deus Ex: Mankind Divided".
Looks like they're trying to milk the last bit of profit from their old and crappy FX CPUs before Zen comes out.
And that's coming from a major AMD fanboy.
