I know how you feel about luck here. After all, I'm on the same amount of time as you too.
Unfortunately, I have nothing right now to pay off a visit. :( Well, thanks for sharing the GA (already have it) and good luck.

Try puzzles, (they are mostly jigidis, so you just need to invest some time) - they have way better chances of winning in general.

most of the time, they have invite only giveaway / train, thus obviously less participant and higher chance of winning

I know this is of little solace to you, but you shouldn't expect "a lot of luck next month" based on your previous observations, that is called gambler's fallacy. That's not how random events work.
Sorry to hear you have been unlucky though, so fingers crossed and I do wish your luck improves. Just remember to be realistic though and don't expect anything, or else you may be in for disappointment.

Thanks for the link. I knew there was such a thing, but never knew how it was called.
And yeah, since there are only 4 values to create a "trend" i think its not very significant or trustworthy either :D

A wise person once told me that things are never as good as you think they are when things seem to be going really well, but are also not nearly as bad as you think they are when things seem to be going really poorly. I think the same can be said about luck. I'll go through a 11 months with only winning 1 game, and suddenly win 2-3 in the 12th. Just keep going, and hopefully your luck, and your life, will stabilize. :)

nice graph there :D
And....quiete nice ratio you have there...respect!

I'd hardly call 180 games bad luck. In 2 years that's at LEAST 1 game a week. I would be looking more at what you did win rather than what you didn't win. ;)
I have seen some accounts that gave away 1000+ games and won only 20. Hehe!

I honestly didn't mean it as a negative jab toward the OP, nor did I imply that he/she is attention seeking.
To be honest, it's just human nature to concentrate more on the negatives. When one is getting a streak of extremely great luck, they aren't thinking "wow, this is awesome." They just take it as the norm and are happy. But when that streak of insane luck runs out and they go back to normal amounts of luck or... in fact where they get a negative run that is balancing the insane positive run, they think they are doing bad.
I've seen this happen with online board games where random dice are involved. People don't complain about the great dice streaks. They get sad and frustrated at the bad streaks. lol

And I never meant by agreement to your comment that you implied it in a negative way nor that you thought they were seeking attention.
I was merely agreeing with what you said.. I do however stand by MY comment that they are just seeking attention.

i can understand that it sounds indeed like crying for attention - but i'm well aware that my stats are at least decent - so nothing really to copmplain about here.
I just was looking for a random reason to create a GA (since i dont like random public GAs) - and my "bad luck" for this month was the first thing that came to mind..
Now you can argue this is a just a low excuse and i will never get out of it. Dang!
Proves again: communication is, what the recipient interpreted, not what the sender says - and we have to live with it :)
No hard feelings.

Except if that were the case you wouldnt have replied to people as though the bad luck was affecting your mental state. E.g. your first reply to the very first comment.
There is no indication your just saying all this for a laugh, so don't expect people to take it as a joke. We already have enough people complaining about their sad excuse for lives without someone else pretending that theyre complaining about something as petty as bad luck on SG.
P.s. i dont care about your feelings

This has been my first positive luck month since August. I feel you.

"Don't expect to receive if you're not willing to give"
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You could look at it statistically as being unlucky but I think that's the wrong way to look at it.

Like life, my luck on this site is going up and down like crazy lately :D
So based on this few datapoints, i should expect a lot of luck next month...maybe i should participate in the lottery for once...*headscratch
Since i apparently will not win anything more this month, i thought: maybe it will improve, when i stick to the universal law: "give to recieve".
So, here is a little GA for you. Fingers crossed ;)
