You answered your question yourself. :P Don't mark it as received, but as not received.

The creator should make a support ticket for deleting the giveaway and you should mark it as not received.

You can't mark as received as it's the wrong game. I guess it's up to you if you want to keep the other game, but it won't matter to SG. So if he wanted to give you the game as an apology that's fine. But if you want to give back the other game you can choose to do that too. Either way the original giveaway must be marked not received.

I would have refused any "substitute", personally. But yes, as was already explained, the gift/key received must match exactly the giveaway you've won (with the strict exception of receiving a "better" version of said game, for example you can receive a GOTY as opposed to regular copy, but not the other way around).
