Phone pics, only my main gaming rig. Otherwise it gets too much with my girlfriend's desktop, laptop, my pc which runs as a esxi server and a mini pic from Sapphire :) None of them looks that special anyway imo. Well the Sapphire mini-pc is nicely designed.
But, here is my rig

Dualboot, but I currently play only 1-3 hours (mostly LoL) per day because of school.

For a short while afterwards all I could see was neon. I imagine that is what an acid trip feels like, except less happiness and more pain, frustration and hand cramps :V
I'm planning on flipping the rear radiator round, cutting some more holes and rearranging the tubing annnnd resleeve the PSU cables. But it's finding the time for it (and I'm lazy :D)

It's like Vogon poetry on tape. In Surround Sound.

The pictures aren't the best and the computer doesn't look anything special either, but it is capable of running anything and I like it.
There is only one fan with LED lights (red) and it looks a bit better in reality than on the pictures. Other fans and everything else is just average. The keyboard is some average MS Industrial, mouse is a cheap Acme and 1680x1050 Samsung monitor. But I am still able to be MVP in matches (so I don't understand why people need special mouses or keyboards...)
The only game that I would be interested in is Warlock: Master of the Arcane (already own/don't need the rest).
Thanks!

Ok, so let's rephrase. Perhaps instead of "eclectic" the word "weird" would better convey the idea. Do you have a gaming rig that's... odd or unique in some way? :)

I usually do that, too. Always fiddling with stuff inside; it's easier that way. Unfortunately my PC died a few years ago, and I haven't had the spare cash to rebuild it yet. Been using a laptop. It's a decent lappie, so I can't complain, but it's certainly not a gaming rig. One day, though, the gaming world will be mine again!! N'yah! N'yah!

T'is a new day, citizens!
Things seem to be slowing down. I'll monitor the thread throughout the day, and if the entries continue to taper off, I'll end the contest this evening.
C'mon, last chance to show us your bizarre gaming rigs and maybe win something!

In the last picture, there is...
a PS3 with PS Eye, a XBox 360 with Kinect, PS1, PS2, a NES clone, Nintendo 3DS (25th Anniversary Zelda Limited Edition) and a WDTV Live. Other than these, a GH guitar for XBox, drumsticks for a RB Drum set (again, for XBox360), some 3D glasses (for the TV of course). All of the consoles are (except the NES clone) connected to that A/V receiver via optical cables. Also on the right, you can see Valve The Sacrifice, Brady Guides for MGS2 and MGS4, Umbrella Academy and Kick-Ass.
Hope this helps. (:

Gonna do something a little different this time around, but it should prove kinda fun. :)
The winner, who will be chosen by me, will have his/her/it/other's choice of one game from the following list:
Duke Nukem Forever (standard edition)
Borderlands Game of the Year Edition
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Warlock: Master of the Arcane
"That THQ Game That Shall Not Be Named Until SG Clears it Again" (Hey, I happen to think it's awesome)
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (I had to...)
Here's how to play:
Since everyone and their brother nowadays (and some pets) have cameras stashed in their pockets and/or orifices of preference, this should be fairly easy to do. Just snap a pic of your gaming rig, one that we can easily see, and share it here (just use a freebie pic host service and link to it). Include a quickly scrawled, but legible, note mentioning SteamGifts in it so we know the pic is really from you and not just something you snagged off of Google. It can say anything you like, such as "I ♥ SteamGifts" or "CthulhuSaves is a douche for making me do this!" You get the idea.
Now, here's the catch. I'm looking for a certain type of eccentricity, but I'm not gonna tell you which. Could be anything from see-through cases with lots of lights to boxes made of real wood, or maybe a certain motif (pirates, zombies, unicorns, etc). Ya never know. ;) At the very least you waste a minute or two of your life and get to show off your rig to everyone. I've also created a hierarchy so that, should no one post a pic that falls into the right styling, I'll default down the list until we've got a winner.
The contest will remain open as long as there is continued interest in it. Could be just a few hours, maybe a few days. Whenever people stop posting, that'll signal the end and I'll announce a victi--, er, winner.
(Lurkers are encouraged to give copies of Fortix to their favorite runner ups. lol)
Contest is now closed.
Some very nice systems were shown! However, nobody upped pics of anything really weird or eccentric, much less the specific type I'd chosen as the winning category (see below), so I just used random.org to pick a winner from the entries posted.
The winner is... drumroll...
HenryLi!!!
I'll contact you on Steam to finish up. :)
Ok, so some of you are probably wondering what the "mystery" category was, and the answer would be: Caseless systems. Caseless PCs were originally born out of necessity and/or poverty, but have, rather surprisingly, since become a new fad, alongside Retro, SteamPunk, and all the other eccentric styles. What's really hilarious is that, in true commercial fashion, they're now producing special cases for caseless systems! I kid you not. They typically look like milk crates or desktop sized open-lid boxes, but personally I think that's cheating and takes the fun out of using nails on the wall and coathangers draped from hooks on the ceiling (now that's a caseless system!). lol
Here are a few pics in case you're curious:
Clicky1 Clicky2
So there ya go. Hope this was fun for you guys. If so, please say so, and hopefully we can do something similar again later. :)
