which game should i buy?

The FF XIII port is awful, and the game itself has many many flaws (like how it loves to introduce made up words in context that don't make it clear what those made up words mean, or the excessively long tutorial section), so unless you're really dying to play a JRPG; and have exhausted most other options, I would not recommend that one.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is even worse. Can't even keep 60fps on either with a 980 Ti.

I can't even play XIII-2. It's quite literally the worst port of a game released after the year 2000 I've ever played. Worse than Saint's Row 2, which ties the in game speed to your processor speed, and if you're not running a processor that is exactly the same speed as that of an Xbox 360, the game won't run at a proper speed.

Life is Strange hands-down. It's one of the finest "choices don't really matter" games, with phenomenal writing. It out-TellTale's TellTale, and you'll be happy you bought it. Plus it's the cheapest of the lot.
Batman Arkham - no real improvement over the older games, which are a lot cheaper
The Evil Within - better off with Outlast or Soma
Final Fantasy LIII - is it really any better, or different, than the fifty-something games that came before it?

i love the telltale games, life is strange looks very interesting but the main character is a (little) girl and idk if i can put my self in her place while playing.

Telltale's walking dead season 2 puts you in the place of a 11 year old girl, and that's one of the best games I've ever played :-p
Life is Strange is different, but if you like story driven games like Telltale then it should be right up your alley.

I just finished Lightning Returns today and really enjoyed the trilogy as a long time FF fan. It gets flak from some, but it's still Final Fantasy.

I say go for Life Is Strange. It may have its faults (especially the last chapter) but it's still an incredibly moving story that I still think about since I bought it a year ago.

edit: just expect a lot of "hipster" talk. It can be very annoying at first but you get used to it.
