Your thoughts on Steam Winter Sale so far?

-A few SR3 DLC's

-Bordlerlands GOTY

None, I'm kinda disappointed but hopeful. All I want to go on sale is the Borderlands 2 DLC's (season pass & mechromancer)

First winter sale. After all the talk my friends did of this sale, it's definitely been a huge disappointment. Planned on spending at least $300. But most money has gone to other sites (GMG, GG, Amazon and even Humble has gotten more out of me). Just expected that Steam would at least be somewhat competitive with the other sites. Guess not.

• Will buy Daedalic bundle before it's over

So far, not from steam but from greenmangaming I got Sleeping Dogs for $8 :D So happy.

so far its mediocre. only game i bought from steam is Rome tw: Alexander expansion(for entire 1 euro...). other stores have better prices on most games, 1€=1$ makes steam sales even less competitive.

from other stores i bought so far:

• far cry 3 from uplay

• darksiders pack from amazon

• dead island and sleeping dogs from gmg

• sleeping dogs from muve.pl

• test drive 2 and call of juarez 2 from cdp.pl

not that many games i want anymore. mainly looking for some older racing games from steam to go on sale. also thinking about XCOM

What I bought so far -> Ys Origin and Ys: The Oath In Felghana The rest are gifts. Too lazy to name them :p

Only got Walking Dead so far still waiting on a few others to go on sale

Dragon Age origins collection with prima guide, Super Street Fighter 4 arcade edition complete pack, Street fighter x Tekken, portal 1 and 2, Payday The Heist and DLC, Rainbow six Vegas 2, Saints row 3 full package, Borderlands GOTY, and i also got a bunch of games from the amazon sale.

Nothing interesting yet, so I've bought nothing.

Not the best, but I did buy few games.

1 Prince of Persia game
2 older Hitman (1,2)
3 Splinter cell games (the old ones)
maybe few more but probably most from trades.

Nothing special, but I did buy SimCity 4 Deluxe.

Very negative.

Not so impresed.

Only got HiB #4 and #7, Limbo and Quantum Conondrum Season Pass.

Fear, Dead Island. And that's it form Steam.
Amazon had the WTF bundle for 10 bucks which was way better then steam's sales considering I have to pay steam in Euros, which are worth way more then dollars :/ pretty shit... International game buying is still the thing I consider difficult, can't overcome paying trouble with my shitty credit card if I wanna buy something from Amazon etc.

Tl;dr: steam wasn't as good as other pages offering games on steam

Absolutely nothing.
All crap quality discounts.

I love it! This year my wallet might actually survive the sale :D
