Your thoughts on Steam Winter Sale so far?

I hope someone gifts me Arma 2 Combined Ops. Been waiting for that game for almost 6 months :P
Also it seems a lot of other games have been added to the sale as well with almost 60% off.

Bought nothing. But I got a ton of Christmas money today, so it's only a matter of time...
And I expected something fun along with the sales. I wish I joined Steam in 2011; the winter sale seems like it was awesome.

Amazon has been way better. I've bought 2K shooter pack for $9.99, Scribblenauts for $7.50 and SR3 Complete for $7.50. Have not made a Steam purchase yet, friend gifted me Torchlight 2. Waiting on Mark of the Ninja to go on tho.

It's been pretty good to me. Basically everything I wanted went on sale, though some of them weren't as discounted as I'd hoped. As of just now this is what I've bought & I don't plan on buying anything else:

Bought the Portal Bundle.

Amazon killed it.
Got the land-to-sea bundle and the darksiders bundle (both using $5 off coupons) for $5 and $8.19 respectively. From Steam, I got the Orcs Must Die 2 Complete 2-pack for me and my buddy (xmas present), and a copy of the Serious Sam 3 DLC for myself.

L.A. Noire - Hotline Miami - FTL - The Walking Dead...

Great titles so far, i managed to get LA Noire as a christmas gift, would love to try FTL, but i'm not sure i'll be able to get a hold of the CC before the offer expires.

Alright so far. I'm just waiting for trine 2 to go 75% off, not too much in my steam wallet right now. That or at least 66% off for the Goblin Menace DLC. I'll probably get Iron Front if it goes 66%-75% off although there's already I44 for ARMA, but I can also make some missions and it handles vehicle nice.

Missing the fun bonus-stuff from last year for sure, but I've picked up a few decent older games. New games are mostly still cheaper to buy on GMG for example even when on sale on Steam anyway.

Sales in recent years have been eh. At least for me. I remember the first few were crazy cheap. Maybe it's just because I don't want any of the deals?
