Your thoughts on Steam Winter Sale so far?

So far the sale has been pretty meh for me. Alot of the sales are kinda lukewarm, like the Sonic one that's going on, -50% on Sonic the Hedgehog? Seriously? How is that a daily deal? That's what the prices were at all sale!

I picked up Mass Effect 1&2, H.A.W.X., Dawn of War 1 expansions, Endwar, F.E.A.R. 1 & 2, and The Bard's Tale.

Oh, and I got my girlfriend Oblivion and am waiting for a better deal on Skyrim to get that for her as well.

There are decent sales, at least some, but I wanted a fun activity of some sort :/

I am hoping to get a discount on bad rats it's just too expensive for me to buy right now.

To be honest even Halloween Sale was way better than Holiday Sale so far. Hopefully they'll throw some sweet deals later on.

Got walking dead and killing floor, waiting for far cry 3 to drop at least 20%.

I got Mirror's Edge for $5, L4D2 for $5 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $10. I'm happy for the Holiday sale because I didn't have money during the Black Friday-ish sale.

If there were things to do, like last xmas, then maybe I'd be distracted from the fact there is nothing I want to buy at the price I'd pay for it so far, on steam at least. Considering Amazon offer 3-4 great games for 10$ and steam offers one of those games for a similar price, bleh

Winter Sales Sucks!

I plunked down quite a chunk of change on this sale, but not all of it was Steam Winter Sale. What I -did- get from the sale was:

As for my thoughts on it? Meh. What I did get was, for the most part, 66% off & up. Some were what I've been eyeing for a while and just never really taken action on.

I haven't bought any games haven't seen anything I want, although I may buy an extra copy of Dungeon Defenders. I wish they would have done the coal thing again it would have been cool to just trade it for some of the Dungeon Defenders DLC I need, I wonder why they haven't done anything like that anymore.

I bought Hitman 1-2, Quantum Conundrum, Lone Survivor, and Legend of Grimrock, I also bought Rocketbirds for a friend and recieved Dishonored from a friend

I've talked myself out of buying anything so far, though I did pick up the Bioshock 1/2 + Spec Ops: The Line bundle on Amazon.
