What if you could...

yeah, this is a suggestion. They seem to be popular so I'll do my part.

...make a random giveaway with a single button press. You would be able to set the price/time limit beforehand and all that stuff. Of course it would require a quadtriple confirmation when creating one, you know dem people. General point is to connect randomness with the desired value of the game, with ease.

Region restricted games and that sort would be problematic.

Obviously this is just a wellfare 'idea' and not that serious. Don't know how tough it would be to code something like this, but I'd really like to see it happening. I might be the only one, smiles.

It's a pretty cool idea. The same games often appear over and over, it would be nice to see some new stuff.

Stuff that goes on sale appears over and over. Every random daily deal that goes 75% shows up too. Even if it's some totally unknown game.

Yeah that's one point too, but most of the gifts you see given are from sales of some sort. I doubt not many would let the Dame Fortune decide which game they had to buy, probably for full price. But you never know...

Could be enabled only for people that have at least some (1-3) successful giveaways behind them, to prevent new people from thinking "Oh it will give me a random game".

As long as you can set the price beforehand, I like this idea. Might see some pretty interesting games here.

Not a bad idea, but the Our Wishlist feature kindasorta mostly already does this.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. If you mean the 'Price Range', that kind of thing I figured this feature to use too. Almost the same but missing the most important part, rng.

Or, you could just select random game from Steam when the price is right. Just kidding, it's an interesting idea, but I don't think it will be implemented...

Possible, think only a few would regularly use such feature. Then again giving more options how to create a giveaway wouldn't hurt, more like help.

I agree that more options can not hurt, specially after contributor giveaways already opened that can of worms.
