heres one that only needs one finger
http://www.information-superhighway.net/santabalt/
1hand
http://andrewmorrish.net/?page_id=157
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/608116
and this needs 2 but might be limited enough(but less likely since although your left could be more or less rested on space your right is the arrow keys and no way to change it, if controls could reconfigure it'd be playable 1handed, but unfortunately http://andrewmorrish.net/?page_id=313

I forget, but is binding of isaac mainly one hand?

No, not even close. Anyways, VVVVVV can be played with one hand if I remember correctly. I love that game, so give it a try. Also, I think you can play Jamestown with the mouse only, it's awesome as well

I don't know but I hope you'll get better soon :D

Dwarfs can be played one-handed, if you're able to control the mouse. I don't know about the other games you have on your list, unfortunately.
Other game, but which would need you to use the mouse a lot, is The Witcher 1. The iso controls on the game allow single-handed mouse controlling.

EDITED:
(Bold are highly reccomended based on your time in spacechem and Fortrix (and a few others)
Suggested buys :
Ticket to ride. Best boardgame on steam, by far.
Puzzle: Toki Tori, Splice, RUSH, Obulis/Cut The Rope(CTR is "Free2Pay" not on steam), Cogs, Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, and Anomaly Warzone Earth (Reverse Tower Defense).
Fortrix 2
Nearly any RTS, Tower Defense games
Darwinia, Revenge of the titans (towerdefense)
Flight Control (HD on steam) Mouse only but isn't too bad i don't think.
Dungeons of Dredmor(RPG), Spectromancer(strategy, multiplayer, kinda like hero academy but with cards), Shatter/Wizorb(Arkanoid/Breakout), Sequence(DDR+RPG)
Jamestown can work. It lets you rebind everytime you start the game! :D
Puzzlequest games, Puzzle kingdom in a lesser respect. Do NOT play PQ2... awful iteration...
Plants VS Zombies
Pretty good for trackpad:
Quantz is a 3D match 3 game. really fun on trackpad/trackball. Puzzle Mode is awesome.
Critical Mass is about the same as above but a different feel and quite a bit harder.
Droplitz is great with a mouse/trackpad. has keyboard interface too but i forgot the buttons. Should be fine with trackpad.

Not at all, its a top down puzzle rpg.
You run around the map and do puzzley stuff sometimes, collect powerups here and there. You encounter random or not so random battles, which is bascially top down, it is Turn Based / Real time. You have weapons equipped to each man and they shoot where you told them to, in a line or AOE or w/e.
All control during the realtime part is just moving up and down on the left side of the screen to make sure stuff hits enemies.

Might try CC :)
Yeh, it kinda sucks xD
Haven't finished Fortix iirc
HE:D requires lots of fast typing, which I can't do with one hand xD
Hero Academy is cool :D
SpaceChem is amazing, but my mind isn't up for it at the moment, too tired from lack of sleep xD

For CC i'd remap to WASD Light/heavy attack on qe or alt and c or one on q/e, lol. if that makes sense.
Move item and eat to e/f. Move item both ways on 1-2. Block on ctrl if its not too akward.. Hmm, not sure where else i'd put it.
Shift is fine for magic on wasd and jump is fine too on space.
Ring bell is rare so you dont really need it accessible, t or wherever, maybe 3.

Was surprised I had to go this far down the thread just to find a comment saying this, was about to just say it myself. :P

My husband had surgery on his right hand, and he has been playing Painkiller: Black. He does have some usage in his hand, so I'm not sure if it is a useful suggestion.

It's my right radius too, so 1 handed-keyboard or trackpad games please xD Preferably ones I already have, but otherwise I'm sure I could invest a bit :)
