Thanks for letting me know! :) still didn't find a solution though.
Edit: oh my, solved it ^^

Yeah, it's funny to see those "developers" considering thousands of achievements as a selling point - who's going to be impressed by that? What can you do with them?
I think without trading cards, the best they can say is "hey, it's a cheap +1 to your library" and sell 20 in a bundle or a something...
It seems Valve just hate doing stuff, so any way to reduce the amount of stuff they do will look good to them...
Oh, try the new puzzle! :)

Bump for it was too hard and I needed a collection of brilliant minds to crack the code!
As a Tales fan or is it a fan of tales?... Add it to your library. :)

Well, Steam changed it from "We'll get trading cards? - Hell, yeah, of course I want to play it then." to "Thanks for the 100 bucks, we'll might come back to you after checking your game one day ... if my team then consists of more than myself." The time the community spent on voting Greenlight is now needed for filtering the store. Times are a changin, but greed not.
Thank you for the awesome GAs, fiftykyu! :)

Bots aren't going anywhere they'll just be edited to enter a handful of gibs at a time with a delay before entering the next few.

Thanks for the giveaways. And have a bump, my good sir.
I don't really know a lot about steam direct, so can't really answer your question.

By the looks of it, Steam Direct isn't any better than Greenlight considering that games like the Achievement Hunter series that boasts being the cheapest possible and having 73000 achievements has managed to join the ranks of shit on Steam. Atleast, Greenlight had some standards placed there by the voters who'd stop something like this from happening.

Yeah, pretty much that. I had hoped that Direct would be better than Greenlight but I forgot we were dealing with Valve.

I wonder if it's even possible to make something that can't be gamed by sleazy "developers"... Thanks to card farming profitz, the bad guys have control of or access to arbitrary amounts of non-limited Steam accounts, to click or vote or comment or play or whatever Valve dreams up next...
Valve's recent changes are in the direction of greater automation, taking human decision-making out of the loop whenever possible. But the only working store curation method I can think of is putting a human back in, i.e. the old days where a Valve employee actually played your game and said hmm, no, sorry, your game sucks. We don't want this garbage in our store. And it's a safe bet Valve will never go back to that...

Oh, I actually put it in the correct category this time, i.e. FREE STUFF INSIDE, CLICK HERE. You're welcome. :)
There's another puzzle added, so look around for it. It's in here somewhere... Umm, try reading or something. That link you didn't click on yet? Yeah, it's probably that one.
Hey, the weekend's coming. And I have no plans, but after reading the amazing topic I couldn't resist throwing some money away on random Level 5 humans to celebrate. Yay! :) You can imagine I pasted a bunch of celebration-related gifs in here, because I'm too lazy to hunt them up. Hooray for imagination! :)
Sorry, it's just a few cheap ones, because I'm cheap too. Oh well. And lately, Level 5 costs like $1 at Bundle Stars, so if that's too high, just spend a buck and go create a hundred crappy bundle junk giveaways, there's bound to be a few people who didn't buy all that stuff yet... :)
Obligatory Skyrim Rap: Gods be praised
Obligatory difficult anti-bot puzzle
OBLIGATORY MORE FREE STUFF protected by an even more difficult puzzle
Super-obligatory hint because some idiot set the hint timer wrong: COPY AND PASTE, PEOPLE! Sorry! :)
Good luck, humans! :)
Be sure to bump this when you solve the puzzle. Or umm, ok I don't care if it gets bumped. And bumps just reduce your chances, and we don't want that, do we? Let's just hope it dies in a couple hours.
Good luck, human! :)
So, as you're a human, you can read this dumb question which is probably just an excuse for me to bump the topic after people forget about it:
What do you think about the replacement for greenlight, Steam Direct? All I can think of is reductio ad absurdum, i.e. Valve's anti-curation taken to its logical conclusion. Soon the Steam store will contain 1000 real games, buried under a million pieces of game-shaped garbage. Good luck finding anything you'd ever want to play. No shortage of +1s for the game-collecting lunatics, though... :)
p.s. I was going to make a Skyrim giveaway, but the store's been saying Processing Payment for the last 15 minutes so never mind. Hopefully I will remember to check that tab next week or something... Sorry gang... :)
