Hello,

I'd like to create a giveaway for an upcoming game I'm working on:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2335800/Temporal_Shore/

I've seen many giveaways for coming soon games, however, I don't seem to be able to find my game when I'm trying to create a giveaway for it. Is there anything I need to configure on my account or on the Steamworks portal for it to show up, or is there something on SteamGifts' end that needs changing? I created a support ticket 5 months ago (https://www.steamgifts.com/support/ticket/Wo5PJ/temporal-shore), but I guess tickets are no longer checked.

Thank you very much in advance!

Edit: Thanks very much to the mod team, the game has been enabled, so I'm able to create GAs for it now. Hooray! \o/

I have a hazy recollection, but it appears that only people higher than senior moderators can be added.
(about half)
https://www.steamgifts.com/roles
https://www.steamgifts.com/users

Three of them are online, so maybe they are busy.
I hope it's noticeable.

I'd wager your game will have (hopefully) won a game of the year award already before moderation gets to your ticket. I did the usual Steam things btw.

Thanks very much! I reckon it'll become listed here after it gets released, so if the Game of the Year award is in the cards (pun intended), we should be able to celebrate it with a GA!

My ticket took like a month but that was about 8 years ago. So obviously not a usable frame of reference anymore.

And so have there been tickets that are waiting 2 years, staff comes and go, it seems every time CG hires new staff, they eventually drop out and then we are left hanging months without barely any.

I did have some tickets a few years ago requesting rerolls for some GA where keys ended up being region-locked without my knowledge and they were handled within 24 hours. So the 5 months here seems a bit extreme.

This has to do with the different levels of mods. The support ticket mods that handle the rerolls are mid level or so while the add game mod is only given to 2 people or so SG and 1 mod.

Looks interesting, i am looking forward to the Demo.

Unfortunately creating a ticket under the "Add Game to List" tag is all you can realy do.
But i assume by reading your OP you already did this.

Nice to see there are also real developers and not just the ones with trash asset flips. Hope your winners will try a game and leave you a review. Good luck!

The game looks nice, I've added it to my wishlist.

Sometimes it can take quite a long time for staff to get the tickets closed, but in case you might be tempted to do so, a word of advice against commenting on your ticket to see how things are going - I believe that will only put it back to the bottom of the queue.

Your game looks interesting. Is the artwork AI generated btw?

I also wanted to ask that but it felt kinda inappropriate...
It looks cool but if nothing changed, then Steam doesn't want anything that has even a trace of AI generated content.

Why would it be inappropriate?

Well, it might be quite rude to imply that someone's art was generated by AI if that is not the case.

This is about optics, it seems like I wasn't the only one who thought the art is AI generated, so this should be feedback for the developer. Feedback and critique is essential for improving any type of media even if it's rude, right?

+1 wanted to ask the same due to steams policy.

Ugh, i am not going to judge on this game, but i fear the next load of actual AI art generated shovelware.

Not sure if you only receive notifications for replies or all comments, so just wanted to highlight that we only used AI images to be able to set up our Store page early, but all art is currently being replaced by an artist. Thank you for your concerns, though!

The current art shown on the Store page is AI generated, but they are only used as placeholders so we could get the page up early. It was also used to find the style we aim for with the game, and all art is currently being replaced by an artist.

The store page game art as well as the in game art looks nice from what I can see in the screenshots and video. They are done by in an in studio artist?

Thank you for the feedback! The Store page currently shows AI-generated art, it is used as a placeholder so we could set up the page early and also to find the style we are aiming for. All art is currently being redrawn by an artist in a similar style. I think we can call him in-studio since it's only the two of us working on the game. :)

Ah, I see. Are you going to be launching into Early Access?

I did hit the follow button, as I like card games and I'm interested in seeing the progress.

Thank you for following! :) We aim to provide a polished experience so we plan on launching a full game with post-launch updates. We feel it'd work better in our case compared to going for an EA launch.

Thank you! :) We've added loads of new features and content since we initially made the Steam page, and currently in the process of getting to a demo, reshooting the trailer, and updating the page with the final art. After waiting for 5 months I didn't know how long it'd take until this thread gets noticed by someone who can add the game, and we wanted to make the GA at the same time we have the page updated and the demo available. So while I'm unable to share anything just yet, everything is coming along soon! :)
