Today I received my first trade offer.

As tempted as I was, I had to make a counter offer.

Don't fall victim to this cheap scam, help keep Steam clean (no I was not paid to say that, but I wish I was).

Steam removed "/me" (or what was that command exactly) but
WORRY NO MORE the scammers are back (as usual) with a new method.

One guy (kid) tried this on me 2-3 days ago. It was hilarious, he offered 300$ for 3 items worth like 12$. :D

I wonder if these people are ever going to get more pro and realize the dollar sign goes in front of the amount.

Oh Jonex, how can you not trust "Steam Support"?

This is seriously sad... The problem is that probably there are people falling for it the moment I'm writing this.

Sometimes, that's what it takes for people to learn valuable lessons. The human race needs predators to weed out the weak. At least until I finish training Great White sharks to breath air and race down the sidewalks.

I wish I would get one of these.

I've only ever had one person try to scam me but he didn't do it because he said I was too honest and he couldn't go through with it.

As someone clueless in this area (though not cluesless enough to not see the scame :) ) what would be the value in USD of the items he wanted for his "money"?

Well the most expensive is the knife, but I got it for a very good price. I'd say around $150 at tops, but the market prices vary day by day.

I'm even more clueless than Uglyduckly. What are those items? What is that knife that you say is worth $150 tops? That sounds like a scam to me. Some special item for some game?
