+1 But yup, I'm man. Portugal is 6th I believe world football team, so this will not be easy, but with their current form everything is possible.
Also this pool is little...well...after you see this below, you know...:

IKR? I never knew there were so many Polish gamers, but they are a phenomenon!

Dude....I'm sure you know that CDProject RED(the most awesome game developer ever) is Polish. I bet The Witcher 1 probably introduced many Polish into gaming(also being based on books by a Polish author).

Same here, except replace polish girl with american boy, and replace polish football team with portuguese football team, and replace press "vote" with press "vote" for the other team. :-P
TBH I certainly have nothing against Portugal as a country-- I have never been there-- but I don't like the behavior and temperament of CR7 and Pepe, so I tend to root against them.

In Greece, we say:
Ranieri was in the Greek national team, went to Leicester, won the Premier League.
Santos was in the Greek national team, went to the Portugal national team, and will probably get the Euro. xD
Anyway, to be honest, I think that Portugal can win that. I also expected that England and Spain wouldn't win their opponents. ;P

If Milik will finally get his shots right, then Poland should win without any problems tbh. Lewandowski is indeed looking for his first "official" goal (he got his penalty in the last shoot-out so theres that) but he also does a lot of work to actually create the situations and defend when Poland loses the ball. Then theres Pazdan which already became a meme on Polish sites with that hes blocking everything xD Hes really doing great though. And ofc Błaszczykowski which pretty much is the heart of the team in my opinion :)

I think Portugal is going to win.
PS: André Gomes.... I can't believe Juventus is gonna spend 40 million on him. He is supposed to create plays for Portugal but we don't hear his name during the matches. Super flop!! I hope Juve forgets about this guy.

I predict a really boring match and Portugal winning in the end.
Portugal seem to have luck on their side.
But tbh, this is the least interesting quarterfinal imo. I havent been impressed by either of them.
Seems the easiest route to the finals, this side of the 8th/quarterfinals. All the (socalled) big countries are on the other side.
I wouldnt be surprised if Portugal would make it into the finals. The winner meets Belgium or Wales. Thats nothing compared to France, Germany, Italy (and my personal favourite Iceland).

Seems like every national team only mentions Ronaldo, not to discredit the guy's skills but we have good enough players to stand against Poland.
unfortunately Portugal has been mostly about individual strength rather than Team Performance, so...who knows the result of this match?

Well, Pepe is mentioned a lot as well. For different reasons though :)
You do have the better players imo. But the Portugese team highly depends on one guy. I mean, he solely was responsible for that tie vs Hungary.
If you look at the 2010 and 2012 Portugese squad I see a lot more important players. It didnt depend that much on Ronaldo back then. Youre screwed if he has a really bad day or gets injured.

Well I'm hoping Portugal wins but we've been crap throughout the whole tournament. Luck has definitely been on our side though so who knows? Maybe we can pull off a Greece and troll our way to the championship.

If Renato Sanches plays then Portugal will win. Last game he blew me away. Could be the next Messi. But it doesn't really matter, next round you're out.

Nani has scored a couple so I wouldn't say it's all on Ronaldo's shoulders, although a lot of it is.
Anyway, come on Poland!

It's the knockout rounds now so it's extra time and penalties! :)

Poland has impressed me more than Portugal has this tournament, so I'm hoping that they win. I think it'll be an even and exiting match! But then again anything is more exiting than Portugal's previous game.

Iceland has been great! I've been cheering for them the whole tournament since my own Norway isn't in this year or ever. Hope they can pull off a Greece of some sort :D

I guess we´ll see a quite boring match. It´ll be 0-0 until Penalty shootout. Poland showed that they are stong in the shootouts so I guess they will win this aswell.

LOL. Barring a moment of brilliance by CR7, you may be right...

I guess Portugal will go home.
Poland is the more homogeneous team and Lewandowski is hungry for his first goal.
Portugals game depends extremely on Ronaldos strength, if he´s out of shape there´s no chance for Portugal.
Whats your opinion?
edit: Since I unexpected go out to watch the match the winner of the GA must be patient ;)
May the better one win
