i usually have 4 or 5 but whatever your computer handles is a good amount... if it slows down because of too many tabs then its too much

Up to 80-100, I don't like when there are too many. Plus, as I'm using 4 different browsers (Chrome, IE, Mozilla, Opera), they all have different tabs.

On my second computer, I had 62 tabs (Damn you TvTropes) open. It had a Pentium 4 and half a gig of memory. Not too bad. On my main computer, ah... 70+? I know I've never gone beyond a hundred. Oh and, on firefox.

98% of the time I have just one. When I see something I wanna check out in a few minutes or just without leaving my current page I'll open more.. Usually no more than 5. I opened about 50 just now to see what it was like.. How do you even navigate that?

I have right now 270-300 tabs in Firefox BETA. I got also about 6 other profiles and around 150 tabs in each. + Opera tabs + IE tabs.

Usually about 10-20, when it gets to 40-50 and I can't navigate anymore, because I spend too much time locating stuff, I close all tabs and start opening them again. Happens at least three times per day and I'm pretty sure it happens a lot more.

10-15 Sometimes, mostly 4-5, and sometimes 6-7.

I never goes up to 10 tabs. So after visiting a page I closed the tab by clicking M3. Sometimes it becomes a habit, I often reopen tabs I've closed before when I'm missing something. I just don't like having too many tabs..

I wonder what you guys are doing with 100+ tabs O_o

20+ is normal for me but I also have about 20+ restor sessions that I have to get back to so yeah

Around 40-60. Pretty much would like to have another screen, so I would be able to browse 2 tabs at the same time(then it would double to around 100). :)

Somewhere around 10-20 on average. Usually not more than 30 though (by then I'll have opened a new window.)

For me it's usually atleast 10 tabs open, usually more. And my cousin's the one making fun of me, lol :P
