Question regarding the last day of the summer sale

So I've missed out on buying Shogun Total War: Fall of the Samurai and Trine 2 being at 75 %.

Anyway they get discounted again ?

How does the last day of the summer sale work again ?

Usually there is an encore sale for a day, but it may feature just some of the games. Nobody knows for sure. Anyway, they may be flash/daily/commuinity choice again.

it is prob safe to say that all of the games include in the "Steam Summer Getaway Badge" will all be on sale again as the encore.

there is a pretty good chance that they will go back on sale before the end. a bunch of games have already gone on sale multiple times.

for the last day of the summer sale 'tactic' you might have been thinking of is to wait until the last day to buy something that has been on sale since day one in the hopes of it getting a better discount from flash sales/daily deals/community votes.

Watch out for the Flash Sales and Community Choice every 8 hours, they may very well show up there, for that exact same discount.
