Natural Selection 2. Yay or Nay?

I haven't been able to decide. For 10 dollars it looks alright, how active is it? Anyone have opinions?

Tryed it yesterday. Noticed there was no matchmaking system. When I joined I was forced to roll an alien and I could not understand how to play it. Saw some object I could destroy, started punching it and someone shot me. Deleted the game.

Theres no matchmaking because that console crap is NOT needed when you have a server browser. And you could have watched the tutorial videos to unterstand how the game works.

Blaming the game because you are too lazy to do anything at all, is just...

I hate matchmaking so damn much...maybe its because I am an older PC gamer but if an online game doesn't have a server browser I get pretty mad.

Its a pretty great fps/rts hybrid, and definitely active. Don't listen to this guy, he just didn't bother to learn how to play.

Definitely a Yay! Bought the game 3 Weeks ago and I've had tons of fun. The 2 sides (Marines and Aliens) are quite different in terms of gameplay and the commander mode is good aswell.
