I haven't tried it. Postal 2 entertained me when it came out, but I was twelve. All I did was enable infinite demo time and run around smashing people's heads in with a shovel.
...I still got the full version later on, but still. It's not like I expect it to be anything but a mindless gore-fest, even though I'm confused by the switch to third person. What all did they change?

well, for me Postal 2 was fun mainly because all the gore, stupid things, nonsense and being anything but serious. but this Postal 3 is somehow diferent. it might get "fun" a bit later, but after 30 minutes of this game I was just simply bored, it was terrible. 3rd person view is only the first thing. I can't really explain why but this game is just piece of crap unlike the previous one, which was crappy but fun

well, postal 2 just had a ridiculous story and so much nonsense and parodies that it's been pretty fun imo (and I still like to sum it up as "how horribly wrong a single week can go")
postal 3 is... meh, I don't know. first thing that annoyed me was that stupid tutorial and then you also just get moved to random positions on the map to do weird tasks which is a bit like postal 2, but it just doesn't feel "postal". might just be the sum of small things they changed that somehow got rid of that typical postal feeling :/
