Help me remember 2 kinda old movies and an old game

I'll start with the game. From the 90s sometime you play as 2 factions, female and male. It's like sometime in the future and men and women are at war with eachother and you control a squad and you go around shooting stuff kinda like dawn of war 2 but way older and If I remember correctly the characters kinda looked like space marines too.

Now the movies

The first one if I remember correctly was some kind of sci fi/horror. There was like this guy that worked in a lab and smuggled home some scorpion like creatures that were super smart and later they worship him and even build a statue of in their sand terrarium and I remember him throwing some guy in there and they eat him.

The second film was like a family movie there were these little robots that flew around and people on some apartment building and I even remember one of the little robots being pregnant.

Oh and both movies are from the 80s/90s and not cartoons/animated whatever.
