Ok let's see. I'm guilty of saying that I was going to leave SG and not doing so, I also sorta used one of my threads for growing my whitelist in a way that I knew would get my whitelisted by at least a few, and I definitely enter gibs for the +1.
I also tend to fake being polite because I know that it benefits me on the long run, I leech as much as my conscience allows me, my last train was more of a desperate call for attention that anything else, I pretend to strictly follow the rules but actually purposefully ignore the people that break them when that benefits me somehow, and I created a fake personality here that doesn't really reflect my real self.
There's probably more, but I can't be asked to keep on thinking about this right now.

Yes, it's amazing how people can be so cheerful and happy-go-lucky here.
It often feels like everyone's putting on a mask and if you want to be a part of the community you'll have to wear one too.
That's true for most, though I still think there are some great people here.
It's nice to see someone talk about this. I appreciate your sincerity and I honestly think that it's much easier to make friends and chill with people who can speak true of themselves, like you just did, even if they're not angels from a moral point of view.
I think it isn't worth trying to please everyone or dodge all the blacklists, you'll end up on some even if you're extremely polite.
If being a saint isn't your thing, don't do it, just act like you want, and as long as you're not the devil or someone not even you would like, there will be people who will appreciate you. And their honest opinions are much more valuable than all that play pretend.
Edit: Now I've done it... I heard that using the word "blacklist" could get you blacklisted. Hope that isn't the case. :D
Edit 2: I was actually removed from a blacklist. Aww. :)
