I haven't seen any videos where they do that instead of speaking, but it sounds awful. I personally enjoy a video more if the important thing is the game itself instead of the person playing it. I preffer watching a good player that occasionally comments something related to the game and makes you feel that he's playing it cause he likes it over the typical youtuber who's constantly blabbering and screaming even during dialogue cause he knows people don't care which game he's playing. But I haven't really found many that fit in the first group.
