NO. NEVER BUY A CONSOLE RIGHT WHEN IT"S RELEASED! REMEMBER THE PS3 FIASCO OR THE RED RING OF HUUBLAHJINGBLAH XBOX 360!
But, Seriously. Don't buy a console right when it's released. One, it may break.. 2 you pay 100% more the price and 3 there are always sales on new consoles every Christmas or generally every other week.
4th Computers last longer...

Well in terms of the red ring microsoft didn't even fix that until their most recent 360. I've had 8 xboxs; thank god for warranties.

LOLOL, My plan was to attempt youtube. But I think I might not do it because I've got a job recently and going to college in the fall. But yea going to change the storage.
If you are all curious, I had a forum post for my PC Building

Why do you have 16GB of Ram? Make it 8GB.
Why a 650w PSU if you're only going to use one GPU and why would you pay that much? Get this
Why not a i5-3750k?
WHY WHY WHY?
If I were you I'd wait or just buy a current gen console. There are some pretty amazing games and they're cheap assuming you don't own a current gen console.

16GB because some people in that thread said that 16GB will help on video editing.
650w PSU: This is going to be my first build, so Idk about the PSU .. At least it wasn't 800w like my first sugguestion ><
Um but the first sugguestion the guy helped me on was this.

Well it depends on what type of video editing I guess.
Are you going to do stuff similar to what Freddiew (on youtube) does?
550w is enough. PC Part Picker says your build will only use 370w.
550 is recommended for single GPUs, 650 for dual GPUs, and 850 for triple.

Yup, that's better.
Now that you saved yourself about $200-300 the only suggestion I have is that you upgrade to a AMD 7970 since it's the better card, but if you don't that's fine the 670 is a great card.
Oh also buy a new mouse, keyboard, and monitor if the ones you have aren't that great.

I said this on SG chat, but I'll say it again.
670 for CUDA. 650 for future proofing. That Rosewill Capstone is one of the best you can get. If he really wants to save money, he could also go the XFX 650w. If he is spending that much, just go 650w.

Unless you're doing ton of video editing and stuff, then i7 and 16gb of ram are a little overkill. Make it 8gb and i5 and you'll save some money. Go with Kingston memory and maybe consider switching your PSU to Corsair.
Buying OS

no rush to buy new consoles imo. they'll be overpriced and there wont be a lot of games for them early on anyway

Hey! So I've almost saved up enough money to get all the parts for my PC :D But I suppose this might be a silly question, but should I wait off on buying it for the next gen consoles?
Note: I'm going to change some of the parts in the PC build. But if you want to suggest some changes, go right ahead!
Note 2: Just a small giveaway!
