^This. If I don't need or want the BTA game(s), then I'm not going to BTA. But same goes even for paying minimum...I'll only do it if I really feel it's worth it.
When bundles first started, I gave over the BTA, but now there's so many of them, I've stopped doing that. They've just flooded the market.

I usually always go for the BTA when/if I buy bundles. (I haven't bought one in a while though. :( Fixed income sucks! >_< )

Usually bta, but if I can get it all for $1 then I do that as well. I don't feel bad for being cheap coz its for charity, I work hard for my money and I don't need to justify how I spend it to anybody but myself. If the government's of the world weren't screwing all of us and doing their jobs properly there wouldn't be any need for charities.

I take the BTA price and round up to the nearest dollar.

Bough around 3-5 bundles all BTA, depends on games which are in BTA.

Usually go for a minimum price that is required for BTA, or minimum allowed price if I know for sure that I won't care for any of the BTA games.
The only exception to this rule is the Royale bundles where I rise the price a couple of cents from that of the minimum to get the price down for the next guy. I find it annoying that more people don't do that - several cents don't really make a difference most of the time and that would be a great way to keep the price low for everyone.

iirc the only times I've paid $1 was the last two humble weekly sales, mainly because I already had 30 Flights and didn't have enough for THQ BTA
I guess I also bought a few $0.01 bundles as trolls

HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE I'm a troll I'm making a charity event loose money. I'm so kool and bad.
Asshole.

The charity thing was a stroke of genius. Humble Bundle Inc is a for profit company that gives some of the proceeds to charity. These are not "charity events". Companies donate proceeds to charity because it ultimately makes them more money because people feel better about their purchase. The best way to give to charity is to donate directly. Involving a middle man is just adding additional inefficiency to the system.
That being said, only giving $0.01 is still a dick move.

I agree on the first point and like your honesty on the second. Frankly, I don't think there's a huge difference in dickishness between paying $0.01 and $1, which is what I suspect most people pay. It's all so damn cheap that there's not much difference either way.

I actually see a significant difference in dickishness purely because $0.01 will actually cost Humble Bundle money while $1 will leave them and the developers with next to nothing. I don't know what fees humble bundle is paying but their break even point is probably somewhere around $0.30 (not including salaries and hosting fees). You're super cheap if you only pay $1 but at least you aren't actively costing the company money.

Usually BTA because I want the BTA games. I usually will round it to the nearest dollar amount.

Like most it depends on what is on my account when the bundle is up and what games are in it.
When buying BTA I tend to round up to the nearest dollar unless the charity the given bundle is supporting is not for my liking.
I think the more interesting question would be, how people divide the amount they are paying; i.e. with the humble bundle you can choose between the developer, charity (and here even which you want to support) and then the humble tip.
Seeing how it is for charity I tend to put the charity option to max and split the rest between the other two; the developers putting their games in bundles know they are not going to be swimming in money by doing this: it is for charity.

Usually bta rounded up to the next dollar and the default split. I pay more if I actually will play the games, but I've played slightly less than half of the bundle games I've purchased.
On one of the more recent bundles, I decided I wanted a second copy of Dungeon Defenders for my wife (had a copy myself from an earlier bundle), and since I already knew I liked the game I paid 15$ all to Trendy.

Depends on what's inside, but usually BTA or I don't buy it at all...

Enough to get Steam keys. Used to pay $.01. Now, I pay $1.

I'd like to know how much do people usually pay for bundled games.
Do you pay minimum $1, do you go for at least average or are you generous and pay more than average (how much)?
I personally bought only 2 bundles in my life, one was Humble Indie Bundle 6 and I went for BTA. The other one was recent Darksiders and Red Faction bundle for which I paid only $1 because I didn't have much money on my credit card at that time.
I felt bad and cheap for doing that and I probably won't be doing it again. I think people should pay more if they can afford it, developers that allow their games to be sold for so little deserve support (as opposed to most AAA developers nowadays).
What are your thoughts?
