You're welcome.

It's like that for all DLC unfortunately. I've gotten in the habit of hiding DLC giveaways when I own it. Helps clean the clutter :)

Yes, i recognised this behavior too. All DLCs are displayed even when i already have them in my steam library:-/ I guess that's what the "Hide Additional Games" Options is for :-P

Yep! I remember looking into it and its Steam side. Not a lot SG can actually do about it beyond give us the hide option IIRC

Welcome to Steamgifts!
If you have not done so, may I suggest you read the FAQ and guidelines.
There are also a couple of guides out there as well as the "SG bookmarks".
Enjoy your stay!

I have already read the FAQ and guidelines, but the other guides were new to me!

Welcome!
Adding some info: you can't set rules to giveaways (before SGV2 you could in private ones). You can only report to try to get winner banned and achieve a reroll. You can only add winner to blacklist so doesn't win more games from you.

Hey aElder,
thanks for your comment!
That's my first GA so I don't have any experience with it. I appreciate the information you have provided me :)
Best regards, V

Same to you, few users do real giveaways soon after registering, so you're cool! ^,-

To expand on aElder's comment, if you do want to use SGTools in the future as a way of filtering out entrants, it's a 3-step process:
It sounds more complicated than it is, and you'll get the hang of it after doing it just once. :)

Hey CallMeKap,
thanks for the explanation of the creation process. I already tried to do "Step 2", but i got the message, that the GA is not private, but i now know why :)
Best regards :)

The other guys pretty much said everything already.. in public GAs none of your own rules apply, but you can always do private GAs or make publics with "Please dont enter if...."-rules. Lots of people irgnore that, but there is also a lot that will actually respect your wishes.
You might also reconcider the current rules you are setting, because quite a few people (myself included) made a multiple-win-mistake in their early days without any ill intend. In my case I asked the GA-creator if I if its okay for him to give the second game to a friend or if he rather like to reroll, but of course I really should have read the rules.
Someone on the forum suggested a "No duplicated wins within the last 2 years"-rule wich gives guys like me a chance to redeem themself and not be haunted by a single mistake they made ages ago. That I liked of course ;)
But yeah, its completely up to you how you set your rules and I have no hard feeling either way. Just wanted you to concider, that a double win doesn´t automaticly means a bad person.
That said, welcome to SteamGifts and thanks for sharing! I hope you´ll like it here :) Its a very awesome community with lots of great people! I´m sure you´ll fit right in :D

Hey Sildorian :)
thanks for the information! I already read about the one early mistake which you can not get rid of :-P In my opinion the "No duplicated wins within the last 2 years"-rule is a very good idea! And I hope i will fit in :D
Best regards, V

Yep, check and recheck, because being a DLC you may need to add the winner as a friend
