And as for your question, I only remember it happening when I've been gifted Humble Bundles. The ones with Super Meat Boy in 'em are good examples of this. I've had SMB ever since its launch, and got a couple of bundles with it. Same with a few other games, including World of Goo and VVVVVV. Though it's no big deal to me, since I'm more than happy to support DRM free gaming regardless of how many new titles a Humble Bundle gives to me. :)
