This is my first attempt at a giveaway, So I am not sure on how well this would work. hopefully all goes well and some lucky person gets a copy of banished.
Personally, I like to have the game in my inventory or have the key ready so that when the giveaway ends, I'm prepared to give it to the winner right away. It also helps avoid that awkward sinking in your stomach when it turns out the sale price you were hoping to pay disappears right before you can buy it.
Oh, and be careful with the keys you buy from retail sites. Sometimes, they aren't really Steam keys. All keys you gift must be redeemable on Steam by the winner. All of this information (and more!) is in the FAQ (www.steamgifts.com/forum/91wob/faq-and-guidelines), so be sure to read it thoroughly as soon as you can.
