I can relate to your position about not being able to join in high level GA's for a long while. When I was in the same position, I saw a lot of high levels giving away low level GA's....there were very few high level ones. It got me to thinking, that the people who contributed the most to our community, by giving away high quality, non-bundled games were also having to have the same odds of winning low level GA's since there were so few high level ones.
Making high level GA's is a way of saying a huge "THANK YOU" to the people who put out hundreds or thousands of dollars giving away high quality games. I should also mention I began asking for people to take this consideration well before I was even higher level myself. I was doing GA's for people higher level than myself. It is hard to get there, I agree, and exactly the point I am making that these people sometimes need better odds of winning! :) I hope you can relate to my position as well.

There are worse circlejerking than just high CV value. Like some of the groups and whitelists for example can be used in very secluded way.
But yeah was just saying that both ends of the spectrum has their own bad and good sides. And that every giveaway that is public to low levels is open for those too who have contributed a lot. So those giveaways are a thank you too, just in bigger spectrum. :P
it's a simple math matter, less people high lvl = less GAs. i think a better way to show your appreciation would be make a high lvl GA for everyone, following the example. Unless you're doing GAs expecting to receive something in return (than you should save your money and buy whatever you want).
I am not sure I understand exactly after reading this through a few times. My GA's are primarily made for everyone, I just typically put a higher level (some higher than my own) to try to give back for some of the AMAZING generosity I personally have been shown. As I begin to be invited to more and more whitelists, I will try to show them a HUGE thanks in return for their generosity as well, but I will always also give openly to everyone, and I also like to sometimes include ranks lower then the ones I have been asking to give some attention to. You don't have to be high lvl to give a high lvl gift.
Sorry, made a mistake there. I meant "make a low lvl GA for everyone". I see this site as a way to share without receiving something back, so If I win a high quality game I prefer to make a low lvl GA to give everyone the same opportunity I had than make a high lvl GA to thank the guy who made the GA. After all if you really feel the need to thank him this way would be better to add him on steam and gift him a game directly. I expect to have been clear this time and hope you enjoy a new point of view :D
So they deleted the re-gift but did not suspend the user?? What a joke this site is. So he gets to keep the gift instead of being reprimanded? Yeah that makes a lot of sense, let's reward that sort of thing.

No, it was intended to be this way to raise awareness to everyone to give some of the people who spent the most cash to do high quality GA's for everyone....to give them more of a chance at winning some themselves. Many of my other GA's are lvl 6+ though.
