I didn't really like the first two games and pretty much hated the third. But this one I loved, despite it being in a rough shape performance-wise. Hope you'll love it too
The story. I felt it had much more depth and emotion than any of the previous entries in the series, it felt so much more personal to the protagonist and, by extension, to me as a player. Almost every twist and turn made wanting to know what happens next. Finishing the game made me sad not only for the fact but also about Sokal's passing away, because we probably won't see any new Kate Walker's adventures, won't see how it all ends
Thanks for answering, that’s really interesting. I tried the demo for this game and wasn’t sure what to expect. Sokal has quite a few older games to his name if you haven’t tried them, but I’m not sure how they hold up today. I hope another game will help fill the sadness.
Yeah, I know about those but I'm mostly interested in continuation of this particular story, despite my rocky relationship with it. If there is a silver lining, it is that his last game turned out this great - in my opinion, at least
