i see i am not the only one who thinks that way, no wonder most peopel voted: They're pointless; all people use them for is to copypaste the same "thanks" or to call out fake giveaways.

The shortest war --- defined as an official conflict of two distinct military forces --- in recorded history took place in 1896 between the United Kingdom and the east African nation of Zanzibar in what historians refer to as the Anglo-Zanzibar War. Government officials in Zanzibar surrendered after a mere 38 minutes. Approximately five hundred Zanzibari casualties were sustained, whereas only one British soldier was injured.

...interesting enough for you?

Perhaps it's a stretch if you're not a Pokemon fan, but here's an interesting theory from the first generation games. When you fight your rival, early in the game he gets a Ratatta that evolves into Raticate. However, later in the game he no longer has Raticate. Interestingly, the first time you battle him WITHOUT his Raticate is in the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town, which is a building filled with the graves of dead Pokemon. Why would he be here when he's supposed to be out getting badges? There's no gym in the town. So the theory is that sometimes between your last encounter, his Raticate died and he's there to pay his respected to the departed Pokemon. You may or may not have heard that theory before but it's one I find pretty interesting myself. Hopefully you will too. Also, thanks for the giveaway. Seriously.

We humanists think for ourselves as individuals. There is no area of thought that we are afraid to explore, to challenge, to question, or to doubt. We feel free to inquire and then to agree or disagree with any given claim. We are unwilling to follow a doctrine or adopt a set of beliefs or values that doesn’t convince us personally. We seek to take responsibility for our decisions and conclusions, and this necessitates having control over them. Through this unshackled spirit of free inquiry, new knowledge and new ways of looking at ourselves and the world can be acquired. Without it we are left in ignorance and, subsequently, are unable to improve on our condition.

thank you!

Thanks for serious giveaway!

I don't have much in the way of interesting things to say, except that 6 x 9 = 42. If you're counting in base-13 numbering that is.
