Maybe it wasn't intended to be a public GA?

Thought it since it's the puzzle thread GA, so pointed it out just in case it wasn't your intention ^^

Hello Hbarkas, I couldnt find another way to contact you.
I need your opinion on these 2 motherboard:
Asrock B450M Pro 2 R 2.0
MSI B550M Pro VDH S
My money is on the Asrock because It has a second heatsink for the VRMs and secondary PCIe but I don't know if these helps that much. Are both NVME compatible? Both doesnt have Ryzen 5000 compatibility from the box.
No budget for AM5 and crossing fingers that something doesnt break these months. Going for second hand market APU with all the risks here.

I'd go for the MSI board. It has the newer B550 chipset and from what I could see on the photos has Q-Flash meaning you can update the bios without CPU(if that matters). There's also a SSD cooler for the first M.2 slot.

From what I saw in the user testimonials on Amazon the Asrock board isn't Ryzen 5XXX ready and has to be flashed using a compatible CPU(which you must have available oc).

You are aware both boards are very basic and I wouldn't pair them with a Ryzen 5950 necessarily. If you can stretch your budget a bit more there are better and more feature rich boards available.

Thanks for opening my eyes. Yes, the B550 is a better choice, too bad the B550 Bazooka is not on the market here, according to Hardware Unbox has better thermals for almost the same price.

Now, I'm going for Corsair LPX but I'm not sure If I should get 3600mhz modules since I'm getting a second hand super cheap Ryzen APU (3200G or 3400G). 3600mhz and 3200mhz Corsair LPX costs nearly the same but I don't want compatibility issues since (Picasso) APUs support 2933mhz. The B550 board supports 3600mhz from start but I don't know what would happen with the older APU.

Used to have a G1 Sniper A88X FM2+ board and never had troubles with XMP for 2133mhz. I don't have a clue for this...

Thanks in advance, I really thought the Asrock was a better choice. And yeah, I know there's better choices but I'm on a really tight budget. I don't know If I should wait more because AM4 will dissapear soon and AM5 is too pricey atm here.

Go for the faster RAM if price is equal as you can always change timings in BIOS. Also note 3200 Cl 16 is pretty much the same as 3600 Cl 18. If you can't get 3600 Cl 16 there isn't much gain from the nominally faster RAM.
