This is Red Orchestra 2, an FPS with a fantastic atmosphere, slow and intense gameplay, one-shot-one-kill and a game that points to a great level of immersion and realism.
So don't expect COD &co.

Also the developers are still supporting the game releasing new content such as huge maps and vehicles for free; and the community is making a lot of new maps.
And a total conversion is also coming...

Start playing carefully, it's not an easy game to start with. But a very satisfactory one!

EDIT n.2: and now a pair of recommendations for the winner;

• at the beginning you will constantly die; it's normal, all you have to do is to learn where to move and how to cover properly
• the position (your and the one of your victims) is the central point in this game, not the kill; learn where to move, where are your friends (and how to identify them) and where are the capzones
• there are 3 (!) game modes: action, realism, classic. Avoid the action, classic is the most difficult (low stamina, huge suppression) and the most rewarding
• all you need is a full server where to play; don't mind the ping, it's possible to play well also with high ping (100-200ms), it has only to be stable
• don't play with the commander or the squad leader unless you have understood how to play these roles; and be polite (say "sorry" when you teamkill!)
