Here in the States we're lurching toward Thanksgiving, and here in New York we've finally got a little rain to baste our drought. It's still absurdly warm for the season, but we're starting to brace for the cold that should have struck so many weeks ago. I assume we'll get a winter this year. Those long-term forecasts for the season ahead promise less snowfall than usual, which is no surprise.
On a personal level, we're about to open a production of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, and these last chaotic few days have been tiring but fun. We put this one up quickly. Taming of the Shrew is a weird and feisty text, and I guess we're about to find out how the audience is going to react to it.
This is an old key, newly revealed, and it should be as fresh and when I bought it. If it gives you trouble, please let me know. Enjoy!

Taming of the Shrew is one of my favourites. Have fun playing, and thanks for the giveaway! I'm in Canada, in the Maritimes, and we're having a similar unseasonable season.
P.S. - This game looks like a hoot.

Thanks! It does look like nutty fun, doesn't it? If I had a smaller backlog, I would have tried it out myself.

I would gladly send our Bomb Cyclone to you if you'd like. In 24 hours we went from calm but slightly rainy to 60+mph gusts, 560,000+ customers without electricity, and rivers flowing very full (but not flood level). At least one person was driving down the road when a tree fell on their car with split-second perfect timing and crushed it (and him) into a pancake. The mountain pass, which is only about 20 miles from where I live, is shut down, so there's no driving that direction, but there's multiple trees down across the road, making the only other direction impassable as well. Fortunately I didn't need to go anywhere today. I could go on, but you get the idea. Oh, and the game sounds fun.

That's a bit dramatic for weather for my tastes! We got a little rain overnight and there's more expected during today, but nothing dramatic and, even though it will rain for a fair amount of time, we're only getting about an inch over the day. But it might be bigger news upstate, where the reservoir lives.

Haven't seen a giveaway for this in a looong time..
Good luck with the play. (Saw it but only as a "BBC ShakespeaRe-told" production/TV movie)

Looks like the last giveaway for this one was six years ago! A lot of those 1970s BBC shows are pretty terrible, though once in a while there's a good one in there. I've only seen Taming once, years ago, at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Brian Cox played Petruchio, Fiona Shaw was Katharina, and it was directed by Jonathan Miller.

This particular one I quite enjoyed. It was apparently a mini-series (2005) of four Shakespeare stories. I haven't seen the other 3 though.

Interesting! I've never heard of this series. I was referring to the Royal Shakespeare/BBC shows, which were filmed to get a record of all the works for future reference (and, I suspect, to support actors who needed the work). They are mostly terrible. These sound fascinating!

thank you for the chance :-)

Thanks, I won. I'm also bothered about the general warming of the seasons. The years pass and no matter where we are in the world, the temperatures rise. As for the play you're a part of, I hope the opening and ensuing performances will go well. Congratulations on the production. While I love reading, I'm not into theater, so I'm not familiar with that particular one. Either way, it's nice to hear you're enjoying the process. Thanks for the retro game. That's right up my alley, as they say. :)

I'm a bit late answering you - busy week! I hope you enjoy the game. We've finally hit a cold spell here, weeks and weeks after it should have come, but yes, I think the messages written in the weather are dire. The game looks like an interesting one! But I bought way too many bundles back in the day, and my backlog is colossal at this point. Better if I put them mostly in the hands of others.
