I'm not entering since I already have the game... but I've got a question - if I may ask: Just yesterday I've heard on the TechLinked news that Steam finally launched in China - with a selection of 41 games (for now - until games of the other games of the 48.000 offered by Steam have individually been approved by the government).
Considering that - according to your Steam page - you are from China... is it safe to assume that you had/still have to use a firewall to create the account and buy games? How does that work for you guys?
I'm just asking out of curiosity... no need to answer or reply if you're not comfortable with answering.
actually we dont need proxy to buy games expect some region-locked games(we use proxy to visit steam community).For the information I've been told I dont think we need use proxy to buy game in future too.Steam china is more like a independent game platform,just have legally approve by Chinese gov so they can make Widely promotion.I'm not worrying about games I've been paid.
BTW it's not danger or shame to use proxy, most young guys use it.Even if you criticize the gov in tiwtter it's okay too.Only if you speak some stupid and unreasonable things like 'president is a idiot',you maybe in trouble,but just 'maybe'.
Only one case will some one absolutely pay something for his words.‘Nanjing Massacre is justice’ such words will bring you trouble and contempt,even jail.
P.S. Nanjing Massacre means the worst and saddest thing in china,never joke about it in front of chinese.Forgivable, but unforgetable
