Description

After taking some time out I subscribed to Humble Monthly again for this month. As a Warhammer fan I was really happy to see Mordheim included - to celebrate I'm posting some pictures of my ork army. More of my orks can be seen here along with my more traditional art in the unlikely event anybody should care.

Also, I did a giveaway for Battleborn a while back and the winner never claimed the in-game keys for skins and currency. Somebody who plays the game may wish to try and see if those still work;

The inclusion of Mordheim was very cool! I missed the monthly this month, but I was able to get a copy of Mordheim from someone who didn't want the game. I don't have Vermintide so I'm thinking about subscribing for next month's bundle.

I undecided about whether I want Vermintide or not - I love the setting but I'm not sure if it looks like my kind of game. But good luck with this giveaway in any event!

It's the same with me. As a fan of the old Warhammer Fantasy setting, I'm interested by that aspect. I'm not really a fan of multiplayer which seems important for a game like that. I know it has bots,but that's not going to be as optimal as having human teammates. I know my account has a lot of hours in TF2, but those were my kids using my account to play.

I can't believe you have so many hours playing Disgaea PC! That's crazy! Looks like a fun game, but I'm worried after watching a few gameplay videos that the controls would get tedious afterwhile. Looks like it could be fun though. Do I wait for Disgaea 2 PC or do I pick up Disgaea PC first?

It is frankly the multiplayer element that worries me also. I'm an older gamer and I can get a bit stressed by online gaming, and I also only have the opportunity to do a lot of gaming in offline mode. Although I have managed to get into the mutliplayer elements of a few games I much prefer it if I know I will be able to enjoy the single player campaign.

I haven't actually played Disgaea that much, it is just something that tends to get left running in the background a lot (it uses minimal resources and I run it in windowed mode). That is also how I racked up so many hours in Terraria and a few other games...

In any event I was a big fan of the series when it was released on PS2 which is why I grabbed it when it first came out. Disgaea 2 has a number of improvements that make it a better game - if you want a fun timesink then you are better off waiting. Although you can actually play through the main campaign of Disgaea and have fun without a huge investment of time if you feel like it!

We're not getting old, we're getting awesome!

I see a lot of people saying the same thing about why they picked up the PC version... that they were fans back when it was on the PS2. It's great seeing companies bringing these types of console games over to the PC platform.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and Mordheim: City of the Damned were certainly worth $12 to me. A few of the giveaways I have up didn't look like my kind of thing - but at the very least the Flame in the Flood was another highly rated game that would have pleased many people. I've been disappointed by a few I got but not this one. Currently deciding whether to go for the Yogscast Jingle Jam!
