Likewise. The Kombat Packs are tasty looking, but it'd rob someone of the main game. Also gonna skip.

I was first alerted to this some time ago on the Steam MKXL forum.
The "DLC" for MK XL actually just edits an .ini file in the game's directory to make the content accessible. You can edit it yourself, or copy/paste one someone has already done into your game directory. e.g. https://www.mksecrets.net/forums/eng/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=9960

JunglePredator - it is like that with all reeditions that are now under a different "code" on steam ;) I can enter it too but I think it will make someone without the basic game much happier and I will just buy the second Kombat pack when it is on sale.

I would recommend just hiding games like this to prevent such situations
