Umm, I dunno. Sounds like it's mostly the same as the old version. Except now you can play at 60fps without breaking anything. Weapon upgrades figure in to the multiplayer somehow, too? Apparently some random fixes like item duping and dead angle. Dunno about tumblebuff or the deathcam glitch, but I'm too lazy to play it anyway...
Oh, as a bonus there's no "pvp watchdog" mod to keep cheat engine clowns from ruining your game. Woohoo.
Probably not worth $40 on pc then. But since someone else is paying for it, have fun...

I actually never farmed bonewheels, got the shield drop from 1 in the painted world on the my first playthrough, and I'm no good at pvp so I stick to playing the full game undead.

Sounds like the pvp is full of hackers right now, so maybe that's the best option - or just play offline, so you can summon NPCs if you want.

yh I had to use offline on specific parts for the second and above playthroughs just to get the npc invasions, mostly for Kirk's equipment.

You're right, it's mostly the upgraded/modded old version and certainly not worth being bought at full price. While some argue it should have been released for free for owners of the original game, I would have said: Make it a paid DLC for a fair price, something of around 10-12 Dollars.

It probably makes sense on console, but for pc it's a bit of a joke. And we even got stuff like the Bioshock and Skyrim remasters for free, oh well... :)
I wouldn't expect huge changes in something called "remaster" but at least add some anti-cheat to keep the game-ruiners away...

As someone who suffered the horrible, horrible fps' of the PS3 version throught multiple playthoughts, this is a nice improvement. I don't think it's worth a rebuy, but hey, if i can win it here it will be welcomed for sure and I'll obviously play it again for old times' sake.

Yay, finally i solved one of your puzzles (probably it is because this one was the easiest and i am too dumb to solve something harder).
I agree that remastered version looks the same as the original but only with a few visual improvements (and absolutely isn't worth 40$ price tag), but if it will help them (i hope) to raise money for Bloodborne 2 then i will be more than happy :3

I think the deathcam glitch is a recent discovery, but the pvp rabbit hole goes pretty deep... I'm too lazy to keep up with that stuff... :)
I wish someone had told me about the boss soul / firekeeper soul / whatever duping glitch earlier, though. Wasted so much time farming, when the answer was in my inventory the whole time. :)

Is the main reason behind duping is to fast lvl alt chars for pvp?
I never actually had the farm problem tbh, on the contrary, I overleveled the "meta" ds3 pvp while doing newgame+ :P

Hmmm, I think that is one big reason, but also I think some people just want 10 humanity at all times for item find, kindling bonfires, whatever... Or maybe upgraded equipment from the start? A maxed out pyromancy flame is very expensive, for example. :)
