Well, this is a quandary. I want to express my appreciation for your making a giveaway, but I don't want to be blacklisted for doing so. ("Thanks, or something like it" covers a lot of ground.) I don't want to say nothing at all, either, as that would be rude and seem unappreciative. I mean, I can understand why you wouldn't want a bunch of comments which are neither heartfelt nor sincere, but not all of us are prone to throwing about our words without thinking about them. When one lives heedlessly, without deliberation or contemplation, there is much of value that is lost.
