The Stage

The second time trial and this one is quite a hilly one. Yesterday we had a mountain stage and the next two days we'll have the last of the mountain stages; the general classification riders will have to manage their energy levels quite carefully. We might see some odd results but it will probably all even out. ;)

The winner today? Tom Dumoulin immediately comes to mind again; another good training run for Rio. Rohan Dennis and Vasil Kiryienka have probably set their sights on this one as well.

Tour Touristique

Victor Hugo called Combloux "the pearl of the Alps in its background of glaciers". Combloux boasts a beautiful location as it is described as "le perle du Mont Blanc" as a full view of the Mont-Blanc is ever present. Combloux also has the first ecological lake for swimmers in France, open in summer and heated by the sun.
