A movie quote for you :)
🟣 "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die." - Roy Batty, Blade Runner

The book Blade Runner was based off of, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick, great read also, and very different than the movie that was adapted from it.

There supposedly is a plan for TV series, Blade Runner 2099, and Ridley Scott is on board.
Philip K. Dick has many good scifi reads.

It's stunning how many science fiction (or partially action sci-fi) movies are based on his works.
His "Paycheck" is one of my favourite short stories

Philip K. Dick is the Stephen King in scifi. It's incredible the amount of works by King that got adapted, and it's also pretty amazing that a quite esoteric and, for many nowadays, quite difficult to read, has had so many stories adapted to the big or small screen.

Electric Sheep is great but man is it depressing, every time hope is introduced is just so it can be obliterated at a later point in the story. By the end of the book I could not only understand the characters' obsession with having pets, I was feeling those emotions, that final part with the frog just broke me.
