New and unreleased videogames.. thank you. I wonder why you didn't have it go on for longer than 2 days, though
edit: I think the last game that 'moved' me was probably the first NieR as it was the last game I played with some real story and characters where things happen.

To the moon obviously...
That game is such an emotional rollercoaster... I dont think any other game got me thinking so hard, and the feels... Oh the feels..

+1 for To the Moon.
I'll add that TellTale's The Walking Dead: Season 1 ended with some major feels as well.

Happy to see someone else recommend To the Moon. Favorite story game of all time and I recommend it to anyone asking for any recommendations haha. +1

Lol didnt know the announce of this new game, I enjoyed a lot the first one. Thanks for the chance!

Haha, sorry I really can't come up with any story that would make up for a mother-in-law. That's too much that you request. But best of luck! ;)

So you can't gift a pre-purchased game anymore? That's kinda odd.
Anyway, thanks for the chance. Been obsessing over this game since the reveal (and replayed the original because of sheer excitement) so really hope I win :)
Kinda hard to think of another game that moved me right now. This one was by far the one that touched me the most. I guess The Witcher 3 also had an impressive impact

Hmm ... I definitely would ask Humble Support if there's any way for them to move your purchase to the winners account. Humble does have an account system after all, so maybe they will assist, when you tell them that your pre-purchase was intended to be a gift, it's been paid for after all :-) I remember reading on the support pages of Gamesplanet (who for some strange reason doesn't even have that game for sale) that their support is offering exactly that kind of service if the person you wanted to gift your purchase to also had an account with them. Maybe it's the same with HB.
Otherwise, waiting a few months isn't such a big deal ... I certainly wouldn't mind, in case I won.

This instantly went on my wishlist the moment the store page went up! Thanks Pete <3
One of the most memorable and moving experiences in gaming has to be To The Moon. I cried while playing that game. It was an extremely emotional 3ish hours and I remember listening to the soundtrack afterwards and having all those feelings wash over me again.

This is absolutely great, and I can be veryyyy patient. Thanks a lot and have a nice birthday. I cannot come up with any game but I can create a few tickets if you get bored.

Thank you so much for the chance. This is a really awesome giveaway. And yes, I can be patient for such a masterpiece. ^_^

Happy early Birthday!
This is an anticipated title, so you did a good job with picking a game :)
A game that moved me... I've been trying to rack my brain for something, but nothing that really stands out.
I've played Chrono Trigger several times, but it wasn't until a later playthrough where something kinda clicked for me.
Spoilers... kinda... sorta... I mean its not real important to the story, but spoiler tagged anyway. Its been awhile since my last playthrough, so sorry for vagueness: In one of the past timelines, there's a forest thats dying. In a future timeline, all thats there is desert. Your team gets some seeds and plans to plant them, but it has to be tended to. So Robo says he'll stay behind and do it. On the map, I think you can even see him working in the fields. So then you get into your Epoch and go to the future, and there's a shrine where you find him again (but he's inactive). When you wake him up, he says (and I had to look for this because I wanted to get it exactly) "For you, it was a quick hop, but for me 400 long years have passed". I don't know why, but that hit me really hard then; even though he's a robot, just thinking about how lonely he was all that time, waiting for them to come back. It was the same during a later watching of Full Metal Alchemist, how Edward can go to sleep, but Alphonse is always lonely in the night.

Thanks so much. Normally I don't say thanks on individual giveaways, but this is probably the game I'm anticipating the most right now.

Last game that really moved me was Life Is Strange. Other than that, perhaps the Vanishing of Ethan Carter and The Talos Principle (mostly the music and story behind it).

The obvious one is The Walking Dead Season 1, that ending :-o
That being said, The Swapper had an incredibly powerful and atmospheric ending that shook me and left me very unsure on how to proceed, and of course Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons was a very moving experience.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this GA, thanks!
Life is Strange is the game that has moved me the most in the last few years. That and The Wolf Among Us.

HI Pete,
First, thank you for sharing some of your PP funds with us an buying this very highly wishlisted game!!
As far as impactful games... I just finished Bioshock Infinite, which wraps up the trilogy and puts things into perspective.
great storyline, if you haven't played these.
Also, I think about Spec Ops: the Line quite a bit.. finished it years ago.. still impacts my thinking.
Those are two story lines I recommend for sure.
and if I was the lucky one.. no worries, just deliver when its available.
Thanks and happy upcoming Bday!

Awesome! Glad you played Spec Ops.
Bioshock 1 and Infinite are written / created by Ken Levine, who is originally from Looking Glass Studios.. and the story is fantastic. Enjoy!

I want to play games as a whole, so I will skip this. But amazing GA :D
Happy early Bday! And have strength with your mother-in-law. I already learned how to not listen to my mother and only say short "yeah, totally" when she sit next to me and say the same thing over and over again. Ha ha. I won't create tickets on 26th, it;'d be awkward to give you more work on Bday :P
Memorable Game? I guess ME3 and TWD1. Both made me cry few times. But in case of Telltale it was one-time experience. As I knew later that my choices doesn't matter I wasn't able to get involved in both TWD2 and Wolf Among Us.

Thanks for the giveaway Pete ^^
I didn't expect this, but Fallout New Vegas - I got really back into it, finishing Old World Blues and Lonesome Road, and holy hell, this game has everything in it. Dead Money's story about obsession, greed and it backfiring people, coupled with the Old World's remains and horrors, coupled with the heist of the century ; Old World Blues' stories about science and experimentation going unchecked, eventually being for the results, not for the good of the people - also a fantastic, but sadly short story of it's main questline about self-sacrifice for the greater good and falling victim of it. And finally, Lonesome Road about not being good or bad, but taking a stand, planting your leg firmly and standing up for something you believe in, taking good or bad for it, along with it's consequences. Also IMO a very heavy discussion about what a nation or home can mean. While the game is FPS by genre, Obsidian delivered such stories and characters that I can't be thankful for them enough. I put up my favourite quotes of FO3 - NV- Dead Money - Honest Hearts - Old World Blues and Lonesome Road on my profile, and I think they'll permanently stay there because each of them carries a message by themselves, and even more in their place in the game.
"Did you ever try to put a broken piece of glass back together? Even if the pieces fit, you can't make it whole again the way it once was. But, if you're clever, you can use the pieces to make other useful things. Maybe even something wonderful, like a mosaic. Well, the world broke just like glass. And everyone's trying to put it back together like it was, but it'll never come together the same way."
" You've heard of the Sierra Madre Casino. A bright, shining monument luring treasure hunters to their doom. An illusion that you can begin again, change your fortunes. Finding it, though, that's not the hard part. It's letting go.”
"In a world full of misery and uncertainty, it is a great comfort to know, that in the end, there is a light in the darkness."
"There is an expression in the Wasteland: "Old World Blues.
It refers to those so obsessed with the past they can't see the present, much less the future, for what it is.
They stare into the what-was, eyes like pilot lights, guttering and spent, as the realities of their world continue on around them.
Science is a long, steady progression into the future. What may seem a sudden event often isn't felt for years, even centuries, to come.
There was Old World Blues, and New World Hope. And hope ruled the day at Big MT."
"War. War Never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk. And this road, has reached it's end."
(+ The day I set my flag down, it'll be over my body or over a nation I believe in., but the War, War never changes one is the strongest, considering it's the motto of the Fallout games, continued.)

telltale walking dead (seasons 1-2) and life is strange were really some emotional rollercoasters.. oh yes, to the moon too
other games had some strong moments too, like spec ops the line, bioshock 1 and 2 (the neutral ending was really sad) and surely some more others I can't recall right now

But this is something cool, new and exciting! I loved the first LiS game :) The game that moved me the most... I guess that'd be Clannad, even though I have yet to finish the "main" route.
Happy birthday in advance and thanks for the giveaway!

It is more like a famous game. There seems to be much more people being interested in it just because of the buzz than those who played even the free episode of the original.
I have to add, it is nice that the price of this one is a lot closer to the predicted value, assuming it will have the same content amount as the first one. :)
